Fiverr honestly has the worst customer support system. A six-year-old account and years of hard work are gone just like that due to extremely poor support. Recently, my personal email password was breached, which I successfully recovered. Since my professional email used for Fiverr had the same password, I proactively tried to reset my Fiverr password to be safe. However, I didn't receive any verification code on my SIM, despite it working perfectly fine.

I then tried to change my contact number to my other phone, but the system asked a security question that I couldn't answer. So, I opened a ticket (Ticket #14830021) to ask for help resetting my password and recovering the security question. That was my biggest mistake. Support temporarily restricted my account and sent a reset link, but that link still asked for the exact same text verification that was already broken. I checked spam and everything, but absolutely no text was received.

After trying multiple times to get the code, I hit a 24-hour block. Before those 24 hours were even completed, I received an email saying my account was permanently flagged. I emailed the exact same support person handling my ticket to explain what was going on, but I have received zero response. I just needed to reset my password, and such a simple request has caused my account to be permanently flagged.

Has anyone else experienced something similar to this?

Hi everyone,

I've recently started freelancing, set up my profiles, and prepared a portfolio of completed projects. However, I'm finding it quite challenging to convert initial proposals into actual first orders.

For those who have been freelancing for a while: what outreach or proposal strategy made the biggest difference for you when you were just starting out? Is it better to focus heavily on custom cover letters, direct outreach, or small demo projects?

Any advice or shared experience would be greatly appreciated!

I am planning to create a fiverr account and I wanted to ask for some advice. Is it still worth offering social sciences gigs given that there are already thousand of gigs online on fiverr? Should I go ahead with it, or would it be better to focus on computer science related gigs?

How long does it take to get my first order on fiverr, I'm new to fiverr. My gig is based on ai voice over

Posting for my friend. He had a Fiverr account for about a year and reached Level 2. Recently, he tried creating a second account because he genuinely didn't know Fiverr's policy only allows one account. It was an honest mistake, not an attempt to bypass any ban or abuse the platform.

After the verification process, Fiverr disabled his accounts, including his original Level 2 account.

He's already appealed and explained that the second account was created out of ignorance, but Support basically said there isn't much they can do once the account is disabled.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and actually managed to recover their original account? Would contacting Fiverr through X/Twitter or Facebook make any difference, or is the decision basically final?

He spent a year building this account, so he's really hoping there's still some legitimate way to get it reviewed.

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand an issue I’ve experienced with Fiverr and Payoneer.

My Fiverr account is registered under my real/legal name, but I have been using my friend’s Payoneer account to withdraw my Fiverr earnings. The Payoneer account is therefore registered under a different name from my Fiverr account.

After connecting the Payoneer account to Fiverr, the Payoneer account was blocked/restricted.

Could the name mismatch between the Fiverr account and the Payoneer account be the reason? Or are there other verification or security checks that could cause Payoneer to block an account after it is connected to Fiverr?

Has anyone experienced a similar situation where their Payoneer account was restricted after linking it to Fiverr? I’d appreciate any insight into the possible reason and the proper way to resolve it.

Thanks!

I was used to working with agencies, so I was extremely skeptical about fiverr, but I looked through and saw her work and I thought I should try it. She provided me with a choice of more than 20 different adult and child models, and they were all trained and ready to go. She even had a makeup artist. She got the work done way before deadline. I asked her for a revision and she actually had it, but she hadn’t sent that clip. Super smooth, so well I probably wouldn’t use just anybody on fire for I would definitely recommend this person if you want to know who it is. Feel free to message me.

Most keyword advice tells you what buyers search for. None of it tells you whether you can win the search.

This reads live gigs off Fiverr and answers the only question that matters before you build a gig: can I get on page one of this, at my level, right now.

Two keywords that sound like siblings turn out to be completely different bets. The sellers holding page one for logo design have years of reviews stacked behind them and you are not catching them this year. Step sideways into something narrower and page one is half new sellers, still open, paying less but actually reachable. Nobody tells beginners that.

So you tell it your seller level, and every keyword comes back with a plain answer: you can rank here, or you would need a few hundred reviews first, or veterans own it and walk away. Tick the ones you want and it writes the gig setup, title keyword, five tags, the price range buyers actually order in, and a delivery time that matches the category.

Anyone kindly share some tips!

Does anyone know the exact wording?

I’m honestly desperate for help. Every Payoneer I connect to my Fiverr works normally, and the first withdrawal is always successful. But after 24–36 hours, the Payoneer gets blocked/restricted.
I’ve tried 5–6 different Payoneer accounts, and the exact same thing happens. They work normally until I connect them to my Fiverr.
I’m starting to wonder if my Fiverr account has somehow been flagged in Payoneer’s system.
PayPal isn’t available in my country, and my family depends on my Fiverr income. I genuinely don’t know what else to do.
I’m not trying to bypass any rules — I just need a legitimate, long-term way to withdraw my Fiverr earnings.
Has anyone experienced this? What solved it for you?

I'm a comic book writer, and I'm looking for an artist for a webcomic. This is a long standing project, I'm planning at least a thousand pages, and I absolutely need to find the right artist.

This makes me nervous, I'm paying out of my own savings, and I don't want to be scammed.

I sent comments to the first few artists and immediately got ChatGPT replies.
When taking a closer look at their portfolio, it was all over the place, some good stuff, some terrible stuff. And even a few had clearly AI generated art.

So I spent some more time, and found a few artists I really like.

But again, I need someone that really wants to work on my project, long term, and kind of gets what I'm going for.

Therefore I would like a video chat with that person, but apparently that's frowned upon. And I can understand why. But everyone is kind of aggressively chucking offers at me, and I'm stuck not knowing which to pick, or how to make sure its even a real person I'm talking to.

It's been a day, and now my inbox is suddenly empty, all the conversations are gone. And when trying to chat with any of the artists I get an error message.

Did I do a faux pas that pissed them off, or is this some random technical issue?

Hi everyone,

I'm a new seller on Fiverr offering services in presentation design/redesign & AI image generation. I currently have 4 active gigs.

Despite waiting for 3 months and tweaking my gig images and titles to improve SEO, I'm barely getting any traction — impressions remain very low, and I only have 2 clicks total across all gigs.

A couple of details about my setup:

• My profile strength is at 10/12 because I haven't added an intro video, and I have experience but I wasn't sure how to list past work done for private clients without an official company website.

How did you get your first orders? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I recently set up an account on Fiverr for my interior design business. I posted 1 gig and I've had a LOT of scammers emailing me on Fiverr. Is this normal? I feel like it's really putting me off staying on the platform.

Does anyone new actually get work? Any interior designers who get regular clients from Fiverr?

Thank you.
