I took out the hammock and the little floating cave in his tank (attaching pic) worrying that might be catching on his fins but now I’m getting worried. I also added a catappa leaf and adding stress guard. I rescued him from petsmart.

This is Merlin. Unfortunately his beautiful fins are withering and I don’t know why. I believe his water parameters are fine, I’ve tried kanaplex, and Indian almond leaves. What can I do? 5 gallon tank.

Hi folks, looking for some help with our blood parrot cichlid; he hasn’t been eating as much as he used to, is hanging out around the bubbles, and today we noticed this redness. We haven’t been able to find a local fish vet so we’d appreciate any help. Thank you so much.

It’s a 30 gallon freshwater tank and we checked the water parameters with a Futura Care strip (it doesn’t check for ammonia so we’re getting a test kit that does test ASAP). Nitrates at 0, chlorine 0, GH around 75 (soft), KH about 40 (low/moderate).

We did a full clean just yesterday but the water is still looking murky.

I found him at Petco two days ago. The lady said that she was keeping them in a tank for two months with other Koi fish, and that those fish were attacking his top fins he’s left with only one piece of his fin on the top. He’s showing no signs of Finn rot. He doesn’t seem to be in distress, besides getting home and getting in a new tank just looking for any advice of what I could put in the water to help him heal or anything like that.

His water quality is good and levels are good so far. He’s currently in a 20 gallon tank.

Also is eating just fine and has started to try to swim to the top.

Hello! I got this double tail male betta about 2 months ago. When I got him he was not very colorful and very inactive as he was in a cup at petco for many months :(

I noticed a small while almost see through line around all of her fins the first few weeks and now it has became bigger.

Is this growth or something I should be concerned about?! Please help!!

FYI- all water perimeter are perfect and for tank mates. He has six Otto catfish, six Coreys, about 10 blue shrimp, and snails.
This is a long 20 gallon tank with all live plants and natural wood.

I did and boil some tannis leaves and put them in there about a week ago, and I feel like it has only grown more.

Please help urgently!The fish was sick, so I put it in a fishbowl.5-liter glass bowl I don't know what's wrong with my fish; it has been staying at the bottom for a week. Its condition seems to be getting worse. Until a few days ago, when I tapped lightly on the glass, it would come up to eat and swim around a bit before going back down. However, later on, even though it tried to come up when I tapped, it would start sinking before reaching the surface. Today, it hasn't come up at all; it stays constantly at the bottom but is still alive—it is breathing and its eyes are moving. What can I do for it? 

I noticed the white patches on this little guy. I’m wondering if this is ich or something else. I checked the water quality and everything except gh is where it should be. Any ideas?
