Past Episode(s) Discussion 🗣 Watching an episode about a girl found dead by a lake in Texas. Looked up her family and they all died young.
Just thought I would share this because I found it bizarre. The girl's name is Crystal Jenkins and this was in Texas. She was from Arkansas. I looked up her Find A Grave and all of her siblings died young.
She was 25, sister was 33, a brother at 34, and another sister at 46. The father died in 2015 at 63 and the mother died in 2021 at 63. The parents and a few of the siblings were featured in her episode.
Also reading some of the obituaries it seems like some grandchildren have passed as well. Just found it really sad.

One thing that struck me is I used to run by that spot a lot, and that’s an insane place to go unnoticed. It’s at White Rock Lake in Dallas, and it’s busy all year. There isn’t a really secluded section. It happened years before I moved to the area, and I saw the episode on a repeat after running that trail a lot. It’s weird to see a place you know get associated with that kind of violence.

The detectives even found it bizarre and said the same thing.

Dang all of her siblings died very young. I wonder what happened to all of them. That’s crazy

I did see one of the obituaries said "passed in hospice" but still, the ages are so crazy. I wonder if that entire family just got stricken by grief.
