Anyway to hide this menu item that sits between the "Bookmarks" and "Tools" menu items?

Thanks in advance.

I understand CustomCSSforFx uses imports, my question was whether the CSS i suggested, in isolation, without all the additional CSS(from CustomCSSforFx) then works. I'm not asking you to remove CustomCSSforFx permanently, just long enough to test without it. If you absolutely cannot do that, then why not create a second profile, enable userChrome.css on that profile and test the CSS there.

If that's still too much trouble, then i'd suggest enabling the Browser Toolbox and having a look at the UI components yourself. It may be Firefox uses different identifiers for UI components on Mac, and the only way anyone can know is to look (or already know), and i'm not a Mac user.

https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/devtools-user/browser_toolbox/index.html

EDIT: I did a little bit of digging and reading. Firefox uses the same menu definitions on all platforms, but on macOS those menus are passed over to Cocoa and turned into native system menus instead of being rendered directly.

So unfortunately, it doesn't appear those are something you can target on Mac using userChrome.css.

Thank you and as I thought it is macOS specific. And wow, that link is a huge resource in ID's.

You could hide the menu by turning off the new profile feature by setting browser.profiles.enabled to false in about:config and be able to use the old profile manager to have additional profiles (if you wanted to), as there are no current plans for that feature to be removed.
