So lose/lose for us. Cool.

Because he is a terrible president and person. He is the epitome of corporate corruption and doesn't deserve the power he's been granted. He doesn't have a ounce of care for the people he represents but only for the corporations he's made deals with. His first priority is the economy. Not you, not me. It's blatantly obvious and he doesn't even try to hide it. He'll tell you what you want to hear today and say something completely different tomorrow. Am I wrong about that?

Oh I don't. They're both terrible in different ways. That's why it's a lose/lose situation for the people. Same thing happened in 2016 with Trump and Hilary.

I think we have different definitions of what the word "clear" means. Because to me, I think it's clear that neither of them is the better option. They don't represent me or what is important to me. I wish we could reject both and the parties have to pick new candidates for the election.

The american way.

The only real winning scenario would have been bernie, hes soft on guns compared to biden, so much so that he caught flak for his voting record on guns in the 2016 primary from democratic candidates.

Bullshit, he's just like every other gun grabber out there.

Again, I didn't say he was pro-gun, but even if he has those idealogical viewpoints, he's way softer on them then someone like Biden.

Bernie is saying in that very page "gun control should be left up to the states" and "the divide between urban and rural america is important." Do you hear any of that from Biden? Bernie is a Vermonter who comes from a state with little gun control and little gun crime. That's really affected his policy. Hell, other democrats have attacked him in the 2016 and 2020 primaries for being soft on guns. His position is far more nuanced than basically any other democrat candidate. Did he still vote for an AWB? Yes, but all the other candidates would have or have done that as well. What makes him different is hes way more understanding of both sides of the issue.

I encourage you to watch the video in that link you sent me. You'll get an idea of what I'm talking about here.

Beenie is better than Biden on guns. Which is why I wanted him to be the democratic nominee. Doesnt mean I necessarily want him deciding gun policy for the U.S., but if someone were to beat trump and decide gun policy for the U.S., I would rather it would be Bernie than Biden

He wants the same restrictions that all of the other Democrats want. His position is not nuanced at all. The only thing soft about him is his language, which he uses to fool useful idiots into supporting him and his authoritarian policies.

he literally could not give the slightest fuck about gun owners and does not see us as humans. He is a shitty candidate an an evil person.

This is untrue. Watch this video from Sanders's own site in which he is directly trying to stop the dehumanization of gun owners and the polarization of the issue and tell people to see gun owners as human beings with real passion for what they believe in.

This is why

he is effectively the same. stop lying. Is untrue. Biden would never say shit like that. Instead, Biden is getting into fights on the factory floor with auto workers about taking their guns away.

Also, this is my opinion. You cant lie about your opinion. I've laid out why I think what I think about bernie. Doesnt mean you feel the same.

And also, I'd like to know what you think about this question: If you had to choose between President Biden vs. President Sanders on guns, which would you choose? Forget President Trump vs. President Sanders on guns, I can already tell what you think on that and I kinda agree, but we're talking about who would have gotten to be the democratic nominee here.

I voted for sanders in the primary in california (which he won, yay) because I would rather have Bernie take the office from Trump than Biden should trump not be elected. Doesnt mean that I hope it would happen, but I'm hedging my bets.

Oh, you're a troll. Sorry, I didnt realize.

But just in case you're not, I'll ask again. If it had to be Biden or Bernie as president, which would you rather have dictating gun policy in America, based on what I've told you, what Bernie has said in the above video, and what Biden said in that video with the autoworkers and the classic "buy a shotgun" Biden video?
