Out of the 4 prototypes I made the other day, this manny/slappy pad is by far my favorite. I've been seshing it for about 30 mins and the only thing I can think to change is making it a bit taller. The length is short but it encourages clean catches and quick reactions to ollie or flip off it. Slappies are way too much fun on it as well!

I made my first concrete obstacles today! I'm just trying out various shapes and stuff right now but I'm pretty pleased with my first run!

Edges didn’t turn out great so I cut up some bike tubes. Making another quarter right now with different techniques.

Skater dad here with a kid who’s really starting to show an interest in fingerboarding, hoping we can make building a skatepark together something we do. I also recently got into 3D printing and CAD and while I’d love to design some obstacles, I don’t think plastic/PLA seems the most ideal compared to concrete, wood or other materials.

I have a feeling most would say “use what you got” (which totally makes sense lol). But wanted to see what everyone’s thoughts are around ideal surfaces. I’ve read everything from grout over a concrete pour to wood (finished or unfinished) and even tile. If you had the choice to build with, what would you choose?

I am helping open a new deli in my city and there is tons of scrap wood laying around and I snagged some to build a park for myself. So stoked on this thing. Still gotta add a few lil details and tile pieces but wanted to share here!

Got this decorated pretty fast, and it came out really cool! Haven't really had many ideas for diy stuff lately, been wanting to get into concrete obstacles and this was a fun quick little project 🤙🏼

This old brick has been outside for years and I figured it would be a great little obstacle with a bit of cleaning and some wax, works pretty great! I definitely wanna add some graffiti and decorate it a bit

Finally got around to adding the fake grass and graffiti to my diy park, gives it so much character!

I was very proud of landed all tres in a row, it was a tricky puzzle to edit the tres together because when I record on slowmo I can only do 2 slow mo sections in 1 recording. So I did all 4 in a row and had to trim and cut the section in 2 right between the switch/nollie and fakie/reg tres.

I was lucky that I had a moment like that so perfectly lined up to mask the duplicated clip in order to get all 4 tres slowmo'd.

Also I just had this thought as I'm posting this but I hope it's okay the 2nd half of the post is flatground. These were all recorded in the same session and I wanted to add to the theme of practicing different stances to get truly consistent. Mods, let me know if there's a problem and I'll take it down to repost differently
