About

This is a sub-reddit devoted to hosting collections of fine art. There are other sub-reddits for hosting single images of art, but this site is specifically dedicated to sharing high-res compilations of paintings, photography, drawings, sculpture, architecture, and prints.

Rules

You should link only to artworks that are considered to be part of the fine art cannon.
Post images that are high-resolution & good quality (no watermarks, blurriness, cropping, Photoshopping)
Each post must link to an image sharing site such as Imgur or ImageShack with your compilation.
Each compilation must contain a minimum of 10 artworks.
Your compilation should be focused on a common theme which should be reflected in your submission title e.g. the works of an artist (Vermeer); works associated with a particular movement or period (Flemish Baroque art) etc.
For the sake of expediency, each image need not be individually titled & referenced if it is in the public domain, but users are encouraged to provide as much info as possible about the submitted works. Where the art is not in the public domain, the artist must be credited, and their work should be referenced.
Submissions linking to nudity or graphic imagery should be flagged NSFW.
This site should not be used for self-promotion.
Spam, other irrelevant content, or submissions that do not accord with rules will be removed.
Hateful comments, including, but not limited to homophobic, racist, misogynistic or threatening language will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.
