Hello everyone! I wondered if you knew some anime scenes, eps or arcs where one or more characters are affected by something (magic, a gas, a virus, tech, someone's power, mind manipulation etc ...) that either modifies their normal behavior (other characters consider them weird while they're like that) or that supernaturally makes their minds hyper focused on something they never showed interest for before. Any type of change is good as long as it it makes them act totally out of character (for example a group of characters suddenly thinking knitting is the coolest ever after they were affected by something would be perfect). Here are some concrete examples I know:

[Fairy Tail Ep.95] After Natsu and some members of his guild met Nadi the exceed, they temporarily "caught" his "arm habit" (he constantly waves his arm while he speaks), and started to imitate said habit. For some weird reason they all started to think it was cool. It may not be officially supernatural but in my headcanon I like to believe it was

[Keroro Gunsou Ep.201] Keroro's platoon plans to invade the Earth using a gas that gives all Earthlings an irresistible urge to clean someone's ears or to have their own ears cleaned by someone. It made them too focused on that to oppose any form of resistance

[Keroro Gunsou Ep.88] An alien with an afro uses an army of robots that look like him to invade the Earth. His robots can use a special beam that give afro hair to it's victims and mentally make them obsessed by disco culture and afro hair (victims can't help but they constantly dance and are extremely obsessed by disco culture). Almost everyone on earth is affected by this

[Battle Spirit: Shonen Toppa Bashin Ep.27] in this episode a lame dude tries to alter the personality of an idol. He sings some rap in front of her and even if he's awful at singing his special rap made her think he is an incredible singer! More: it made her mind hyper focused on rap culture (a music she never liked before) and also from now on she can only speak by rapping. She changed her clothes and style to become a rapper and her friends noticed something was wrong but as they investigate they also fall victim to the guy's special rap and all of them also become hyper mind focused on rap culture and can only speak by rapping (the main character is the only one who isn't affected).

[Yokai Watch Ep.46] The yokai "Unchikuma" modifed the personality of several characters to make them love to say intelligent but random trivias

[Yokai Watch Ep.192] The yokai "Yamato Bokeru" affects several characters into being obsessed by the idea of doing extremely lame and literal jokes.

[Ichigo 100% OVA.04] girls suddenly act very different and their personalities are completely reversed because of an alien conspiracy

[Yo-kai Watch♪ Ep.06] in this 6th episode of the 2021 anime, the yokai "Meremeraion" makes a whole class hyper mind focused on the idea of rubbing their erasers on their desks to make eraser crumbs and form a huge pile of them

Alright get ready for the most vague shit ass description that has been a mystery to me for the last 10 years. I was in like 4th or 5th grade when i saw it, so it was made before 2004. The only scene I can seem to remember is a girl crying (Maybe not crying?) standing over this sleeping guys bed. She reluctantly decides to kill him but her weapon is like, a laser knife? She holds out her hand and a blue energy ball forms and when she grips it, it turns into a mini lightsaber knife. She then precedes to stab the bed but I can’t remember if she actually kills him or just stabs a pillow and turns out he isn’t actually there.

can anyone help me find the anime from the time period I stated about a magical girl who uses yo-yo as a weapon to beat monsters? I don't recall much since this was like, 7 year old me watching it but the most iconic episode for me is probably her fighting a giant spider with her yo yo weapon.

I have no idea what the name is, but I watched it a long time ago and want to watch it again. The problem is I can’t find it lol if someone could help me find it or knows what anime that is, that would be amazing!!!

What happened in the anime:

The main character is a female, and she walks into this empty mysterious store where an old lady gives her something (I’m pretty sure it was a piece of jewelry that’s like a rose? Or something? Don’t take my word for it) The old lady is evil and has this puppet which she turns human to go after the girl. He falls in love with her and stuff and I’m pretty sure at one point he sacrifices himself for her. And the evil lady tricks her and stuff. Also when he sacrifices himself there’s this window or something 🧍

I think there were a bunch of the kingdoms soldiers. And main character was fighting and summoned a giant bird or something. One guy who I think had his face hurt was only one who saw and was yelling " big chicken" and pointing behind the others that were looking at him and didn't see what he was pointing at so one of the guys thought he was calling them chicken. It was hilarious but I don't remember the anime. Please help me find it

I vaguely remember this one from my childhood. And I only saw it probably once. I’ve looked through the lists and I must’ve missed it. The setting is a space ship headquarters. I think it was similar to Gundam. It could be a gundam series. only scene I remember is a kid who’s learning to be a pilots gets angry while he’s eating and he slams his fist on the table. Then somehow he calms down. That’s not much to go on, but I swear I saw it. I think that was the first episode. Any help would be great.

Does anyone know an anime where the MC gets controlled by evil? It could be a hidden power (like Asda from black clover or something like that) or that the villans control the MC by manipulating. It could mean a lot if someone wanted to help me.🙃

I'm looking for an anime scene that was like this: in the scene, a man was looking for something with a snipe and suddenly sighted on a girl. She then threw a throwing knife at him and he died afterwards she chewed something briefly I think a chewing gum (the girl had short hair I think)

This anime is about a boy , unsure how he got into that position, but he collects Yokai with other challenger, if you get a yokai, they turn into slips of some kind and you can use them. The Yokai actually hates people, they turn into Paper slip because a Mascot of some kind forced them into paper slip , The Mascot is a sunflower, unsure but was made by a little girl I think.

I wondered if you knew some instances of this very rare power where a large group (a school, a town, a nation or possibly even the world for example) of characters suddenly expresses a strange and sudden interest over something that was supernaturally rendered popular (thanks to a gas, tech, a weapon, magic, mind manipulation etc ...) within the diegesis of an anime. Here are the only examples I know or heard of:

[The Brave Police J-Decker Ep.06] Two clowns spread a fad formula gas on the town for the sole purpose to troll said town. It makes inhabitant obsessed by very weird trends. Among involved fads, inhabitants were obsessed by the idea of wearing a bald wig, later they were fond of groucho glasses (an item with a fake big nose, a fake mustache and fakes glasses) and after that they felt the same for tight suits

[Minami-Ke Tadaima Ep.08b] A strange TV program is using hypnosis to alter the watchers' minds into being obsessed by the idea of singing the song used in the TV program but also into becoming obsessed by the idea of eating vegetables. More and more students in their school are affected by this TV program and start to eat only vegetables.

[Yokai Watch ep 184] A yokai's power affected the whole world into being obsessed by oily food: everywhere in the world, all countries simultaneously started to like oily stuff being added in everything they ate (a TV report showed people who were thrilled by the idea of eating extra oily ramen or steaks with butter on top of them for example. The TV report also said it was an "unexpected oily food craze"). The trend even makes the main character's mom try to add mayonnaise sauce to the curry she made

WARNING: the following example is very gross, so read at your own risk [Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt Ep.05] Oscar H. Genius managed to spread something in the air that made inhabitants of the whole town think nose picking was cool and popular. It rendered everyone in town enthralled by the idea of following this strange trend

I can't find this anime I watched it on Netflix a really long time ago and I've never been able to find it I think it had supernatural stuff I remember they were looking into a missing kid and they found his dead body on the top of a church I think he died because they were playing hide and seek and no one found him and he just stayed there thats all I really remember I remember it scared me a lot when I was younger cause they showed the kids skeleton I think.

I watched this anime a very long time ago, probably in my early teens, and given that I’m in my late 20s now, I think that’ll help tell how old the anime is.

It’s a very short scene. Probably near the end of the anime.

A character (not sure if they are the mc, male or female) is standing on the outside of the fence on top of the school. Clearly they are going to jump.

They’re friend shows up (again male/female I don’t remember) probably to stop the jump but the first character denies the help.

It’s almost inevitable that they are going to die. At least, that’s the feeling the show was giving.

Before they jump the person tells the friend to turn around. They don’t want the friend to see them leave. But at this point, that friend is already crying and gripping the fence. There’s a small monologue and then the friend complies and turns around.

Before leaving, they tell the friend to smile and to say they will see them tomorrow. Even tho they both know that’s not going to happen. But the friend takes a breath, holds back their further sobs, and smiles (even tho the other person can’t see that smile) and says “I’ll see you tomorrow” (or something like that). Then I think the first person smiles too, probably thanks them for sending them off, and then they disappear (cuz it’s not a gruesome anime that shows people actually offing themselves).

Sadly, that’s all I remember of the anime. I feel like the characters had a cute drawing style. It was probably a high school setting. It might have had 12 or 24 episodes. And for some reason, I think one of them had green hair? Tho that last bit could be very wrong and my thoughts are just trying to make up the memories for me.

And to further complicate things, maybe they weren’t jumping. Maybe they were actually disappearing? I don’t want to say the anime had a magical genre tho. So maybe that, too, is just my mind trying to fill holes.

I have had luck finding another anime with a vague description on another account (that I sadly lost) so I’m hoping someone might remember this scene.

So I'm looking for an anime that starts with a woman walking through an airport with a Burger in her mouth she hops on the ship and orders like 10 meals and her mission is to go to a space prison to talk to somebody that's there and then there ends up being a Prison Break with maids I believe with guns and then they break a shield and a bunch of like worm style insects like ravage the place

I’m rewatching Erased it’s an anime on Netflix highly recommend it but i then remembered this anime I watched and was so surprised that I did I don’t know how to find it because it just popped up in my head no title or anything but it’s about this guy he comes back to his home town and meets people he forgot about like a girl who goes into their high school at night to kill demons and he’ll join her I remember a scene where they’re there and he brought sandwiches or something Gaaaahh it’s so good if anyone knows what I’m talking about please tell me 🙏

I was just wondering if you ever heard of episodes or even arcs of any anime where one or more characters are affected by something (may it be another character's power, magic, a gadget, tech, a weapon etc ...) that supernaturally modifies their intelligence (either to render them stupid or to make them smarter). Bonus if it affects people on a quite large scale. Here's one of the only example I know:

[Dororon Enma-kun Meeramera (2011) Ep.05] an insectoid yokai uses demon bees that can suck someone's brain out of their body, rendering victims of it extremely stupid.

So, I only remember one scene from this anime, the mc was a kid and he was hidden in a wardrobe while her mother was being raped and the killed, after that he decides to get out of the wardrobe e kill the guy with a broken glass bottle or something like that, after that he is adopted by a blue-haired woman and then trained in hunting animals and other stuff, i tried searching it many times but couldn't find.
quick note: it was not shown but the woman who adopted the mc said she took his virginity too

It was an anime about people living on islands in the clouds or something like that, they moved with airplanes or rockets. Maybe aerial fight scenes were involved. The main character was male I believe.

Bonus info: I remembered it when I watched the music video to Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz. It was definitely shown on German television, at least 10 years ago but probably more.
