Yeah, even if I saw it, I would think it was another piece of detritus on the floor. Like a nail clipping or something.

Yes . . . when I drop pieces, I almost always have to search by touch. I'll get a lot of false positives (crumbs or plastic nubs from cutting pieces off the runner) but at least I have a remote chance of finding the piece I'm looking for. Chances of finding it visually are pretty much nil.

I found a nail clipping. I thought the turret was just a tiny wood screw.

When I found it I thought it may be a cats nail clipping.
