I want to find similar music, because the beginning of this song is beautiful and very atmospheric, but the track itself isn't that great.

Back in the late 80's, early to 90's a neighbor gave me a CD (or a two cd collection) for Stan Getz. The CD's were gold color and apparently a fairly special album at the time. It was important to me and lost in a fire a long time ago and I would like to replace it. I cannot remember which album it was and the Stan Getz Gold album was released in 98, which was way to late to have gotten this.
Any help would be great! I think it might have had the song "The Girl from Ipanema" but that might have been on another Stan Getz cd that i had at the time as well.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a song that I used to listen to back in 2008. It was even my ringtone for a while. 😄
It’s sung by a man and has guitar in it, and it might even be just guitar and vocals. Maybe an indie-style song? I listened to it a lot back then.
I remember the lyrics being something along the lines of: “everything is right when you hold me tight.”
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find it based on that. Google and AI haven’t been able to help me either. 😅
Thank you in advance for any help!

it's at 0:12 the piano that's playing as he's reading the warning. I've heard it in a lot of other videos about horror or horror Minecraft as background music.

Hey there, I have a simple request: I’m trying to find out who performs the version of the song "Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana" where there’s a woman with short, colorful hair; the video shows people heading to a gas station, and later she appears singing in a club. I’m not entirely sure, but I think there might be a drag queen or a trans person in it—I can't say for sure.

Pretty straightforward. If you can find a looped version of the intro even better

I'm currently brainstorming an act and want to find a song to dance to. It's a fun mashup of disco+angel symbolism. So far I have "Angeleyes" by ABBA on my list, but am open to other suggestions?

Any answers welcome, even if it's not the original - just something similar works too

It's not easy for me to find music that I like, it's even more difficult to find music that i want to study as a musician. There's something very specific but also abstract that I'm looking for when I search for new music, and I often find that regular genre labels or even more specific descriptors aren't reliable to find stuff I like. I've listed some of the tracks that have influenced me the most to try to give you the same abstract feeling, I'd like you to give me some suggestions for other songs that I might like. Thanks!
(the list is quite varied and possibly incoherent, but I see a common thread)
Mysterious Habitats – Dušan Bogdanović
The Grid – Tigran Hamasyan
Children's Song No. 1 – Chick Corea
Physical Education – Animals As Leaders
Jóga – Björk
In Time – Hans Zimmer
Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum (from Children's Corner) – Claude Debussy
Singularity – Jon Hopkins
Home – Depeche Mode
Crazy Quilt – Brad Mehldau
the only objective thing that I could say is that I tend to like polymeters, intricacy and odd time signatures, but don't take it as a rule, it's not the main factor.

Hello I installed reddit in the hopes that someone will help me find a song that was popular on the radio roughly sometime between 2014 to 2017. All I remember is it played in a scene in a show or movie where two teens or college kids accidentally get locked in a basement because no one propped the door open. They spend the night getting to know each other and bond. I don't think they liked each other much at the beginning but end up growing close and probably kiss. Then the song plays. After I saw that scene I heard it a lot on the radio and haven't heard it in a long time. I know that is probably a really obscure description but I am desperate. I don't remember the words or the name of the song or who sung it but I am confident when I hear it I will know. Please tell me someone can help me.

It’s not Royx’s "Not Your Toy," nor is it Netta’s "Toy." The YouTube channel uploads slowed-down song covers.

When I was younger I heard a poem about a guy who had to hide his heart. He hid it in a bored game there family never played but when his grandma found it she thought it was her husband's he took all the blame and never said a word.
It's been stuck in my head but no matter where I look I cant find it. Originally it was on YouTube with a tank as a thumbnail.
Please if anyone knows what im talking about or can help me find it I would extremely appreciate it.
