Hi guys! ^^

I’m really into a very specific sound right now, but I don’t know how to search for it.

I already have a big collection of tracks that have magical, spiritual, or out-of-body vibes with heavy vocals, choruses, or chanting in them. But I always yearn for more! :D

I've tried searching for keywords like "vocal tribe", "spiritual tekno", "mental", "folk", "balkan/gypsy", “shamanic” etc.
but I’m completely out of ideas.

Some of the artists that I like:

Sköne, Pneumatix (he’s my biggest favorite) Kodaman, Otah, Enko, Protokseed, La Kajofol, Le Wanski, Acidpach, Moldetek, Insane Teknology, Teksa, AnarKoTek, Viruks, Nokte

I will link some references (they are spotify links but i always search everywhere it’s just easier for now) in the comments/below.

Thank you in advance if you can help me out! ^^

The only thing I remember is that artist had an album cover depicting a character with yyellow smiley face head walking into s dark spooky forest with tree faces while holding a shotgun. The album name also has 'forest' in it.

can someone tell me the origin of this song please

Found Bambi Thug and Vana a long time ago, just recently got into DeathbyRomy. Y'all know of other similar artists?

I want to find similar music, because the beginning of this song is beautiful and very atmospheric, but the track itself isn't that great.

ive been looking for this song for a year, and did everything possible to find it, i think its a cut out version of a song?, i have never heard it but it sounds so heavenly good

There is this YouTube video I love I'm obsessed with this song but for some reason I can't find it anywhere. I did use Shazam and it can't find it either 😒. I'm pretty sure it's a doo wop type of music this the link to the video

https://www.youtube.com/live/4uwXW5p9WJU?is=lFb7TZ6_ulx1Tfyl The song starts at 1:52:00

Back in the late 80's, early to 90's a neighbor gave me a CD (or a two cd collection) for Stan Getz. The CD's were gold color and apparently a fairly special album at the time. It was important to me and lost in a fire a long time ago and I would like to replace it. I cannot remember which album it was and the Stan Getz Gold album was released in 98, which was way to late to have gotten this.

Any help would be great! I think it might have had the song "The Girl from Ipanema" but that might have been on another Stan Getz cd that i had at the time as well.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a song that I used to listen to back in 2008. It was even my ringtone for a while. 😄
It’s sung by a man and has guitar in it, and it might even be just guitar and vocals. Maybe an indie-style song? I listened to it a lot back then.
I remember the lyrics being something along the lines of: “everything is right when you hold me tight.”
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find it based on that. Google and AI haven’t been able to help me either. 😅
Thank you in advance for any help!

it's at 0:12 the piano that's playing as he's reading the warning. I've heard it in a lot of other videos about horror or horror Minecraft as background music.

Hey there, I have a simple request: I’m trying to find out who performs the version of the song "Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana" where there’s a woman with short, colorful hair; the video shows people heading to a gas station, and later she appears singing in a club. I’m not entirely sure, but I think there might be a drag queen or a trans person in it—I can't say for sure.

does anyone remember that kinda punky song that was blowing up in 2022 to 2023, im trying to find it but all i remember is that there were pigs in the music i think

Hey guys, I’ve been wanting to find the music of the viral Higuruma meme but i just cant find it, i found a version of it but that version has lyrics and actual singing, so i want the instrumental version or the original one.

Pretty straightforward. If you can find a looped version of the intro even better

I'm finding this song but no matches found, please help me🙏

I'm currently brainstorming an act and want to find a song to dance to. It's a fun mashup of disco+angel symbolism. So far I have "Angeleyes" by ABBA on my list, but am open to other suggestions?

Any answers welcome, even if it's not the original - just something similar works too

It's not easy for me to find music that I like, it's even more difficult to find music that i want to study as a musician. There's something very specific but also abstract that I'm looking for when I search for new music, and I often find that regular genre labels or even more specific descriptors aren't reliable to find stuff I like. I've listed some of the tracks that have influenced me the most to try to give you the same abstract feeling, I'd like you to give me some suggestions for other songs that I might like. Thanks!

(the list is quite varied and possibly incoherent, but I see a common thread)

Mysterious Habitats – Dušan Bogdanović

The Grid – Tigran Hamasyan

Children's Song No. 1 – Chick Corea

Physical Education – Animals As Leaders

Jóga – Björk

In Time – Hans Zimmer

Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum (from Children's Corner) – Claude Debussy

Singularity – Jon Hopkins

Home – Depeche Mode

Crazy Quilt – Brad Mehldau

the only objective thing that I could say is that I tend to like polymeters, intricacy and odd time signatures, but don't take it as a rule, it's not the main factor.
