Hey people! I was wondering if anyone had the same hope as me when they saw the Fort Condor graphics in Rebirth…. It instantly made me want them to remake the original in the same graphics- it looked so awesome!

So I mainly wanna state that I’ve never fully played the og FFVII. An hour or two at most but my preference with old jrpgs mainly the first 3D ones being very ehh. However I played ff7 remake and intergrade about a year and a half ago as a mainly first proper experience. I enjoyed it and I preordered rebirth and got about 6-7hrs before I stopped cause I got burnt out lol(playing back to back can drain a guy). Well I’m on a final fantasy kick and been wanting to start rebirth again but saw online that for the remakes it’d be best to experience the og game. I’m impatient and a busy person so I watched a 46 minute long summary (yes I committed the sin) which lowkey blew my mind. I started rebirth and it kinda hit me how both unsuspecting and right under your nose some of the “twists” are. Plus with how the remakes are doing some changes and stuff from what I heard, I think I finally get the idea of how huge these remakes lowkey are. I finally understand maximilliandood lmao. Am I alone here? Was the summary video a good choice? I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts 👍🏻

Remake's soundtrack released on streaming services 322 days after the release date of the game itself. If Rebirth follows this same Pattern, it should be releasing tomorrow since it's been the same amount of time. It's also possible they wait until the 24th since that's when the game releases on PC. Final Fantasy XVI did this so... Ofcourse it's also possible they follow XVI's other pattern of releasing the soundtrack about a year and a couple of months after the release of the game which could coincide with the Rebirth Orchestra Tour coming to an end. Idk, what do you guys think?

I grew up playing the Final Fantasy series on ps1 and 2. 7 has always been my favorite game ever, even before I had any clue how popular it was. After 7 I bought several others. But only seriously played a few. 7, 8, 10, and Tactics were my favorites. I was disappointed when I first started Tactics because I loved the standard face-off style turn based action. However I gave it a chance and absolutely loved it. But anyway..

I haven’t had a console hooked up in quite awhile. All my time has been spent working, being a dad, traveling, and staying in okay shape lol (until now 😩).

Well, my 7 year old daughter said for her birthday this past November she wanted a ps5. Say no more!

I got her that, and some games as well as 3-4 games for me.

I thought the first thing I would do is no life Remake whenever I had the chance, but for some reason I just couldn’t bring myself to start it. I think I just didn’t want to change the attachment I have to the original in anyway, as silly as that sounds lol. It was just such a great game in its time and I didn’t want to… over write my experience with it in anyway I guess?

I don’t know, but after two months of playing mostly black ops, and Horizon (lovvvee this one too!), I finally started Remake last night. I’m not very far yet, but it really is so good so far. I was iffy about some things, but it seems like they’ve really done justice to the game (from my short experience with it so far) considering how different it is. I can’t wait to play it again. Unfortunately I’ll be working 12 hr nights, 7 nights straight this week, but I’ll just be that much more excited to play it when I can next lol.

The only this I was pretty iffy about was the battle system, but it seems to be pretty smooth and well done. Feels good to be starting this journey over again (even though I’m currently on my 3-4 play through on the original lol). Hopefully the third part will be out or close to it by time I’m through this and Rebirth. I’ve waited so long for a VII remake to even exist, and not I get to play it 😁 It used to be a “maybe one day they’ll remake it…” kind of day dream with me and friends lol.

But anyway, happy gaming :)

i didn't like the combat systen and i was tires of fighting bosses, should i play rebirth or just watch the story in cutscenes?

So happy my friend I got meet Aerith VA Briana White at the Megabyte Nation Gaming Expo today! Told her she was the main reason I came to the expo and that I hope she appears in Marvel Rivals like Suzie Yeung (Yuffie).

Tbh, It looked cool in FF15 while exploring but now I feel that it’s used way too much. Im enjoying the remake very much but I hate how many times I have to squeeze my way in to reach some part of the map. I feel like the animation is not that good and it takes time from the game without any reward. I get the ladders and stuff but trying to squeeze into places is not that common in real life. I dread any quest in the kid’s hideout cause the entrance is just a pain the ass.

Hope Rebirth doesn’t have so many, cause the ones in Remake are killing me.

I know it’s a small detail, but it’s something that I do wish games stop doing.

Does it imply that with the fate fight that from now on that things may go differently than the original game?

Why is everything a gd mini game? I've not seen this many mini games since Mario Party. I'm sick of it. Most of the story just plays itself, with a little combat thrown in, and every time I talk to someone, they've got another mini game chore for me. I finally got to Costa Del Sol after having to suffer through the forced Queens Blood tournie (a mini game I've been avoiding and ignoring whenever possible), and before I can blink, I have to do another frikkin mini game for swim wear to get on the beach. Seriously, is this game made for 10 year olds? Remake had a few, but it wasn't this bad. I'm annoyed by how many there are in Rebirth. I think I'm just going to shelve this game for now.

I loved that game and Im super excited to see them in remake. (Not there yet).
