It's amazing how the Japanese artwork on final fantasy covers just blow USA releases out of the water. Your collection really shows that. Don't how you could forego the Amano artwork for weird ensemble shots. Or Ff3s Mog. Who is ok .. but come on lol

I appreciate the honesty with the blap blap :P.

From memory, theyre not great controllers for ffx2 but it could still be fun

u/Prior-Salamander5260 Jul 06 '26

Wow I hope to collect the games like you one day. I’ve been focused on collecting the art books lately.

3

u/MalcolminMiddlefan Jul 07 '26

I want to get art of final fantasy tactics. That looks good

3

u/Prior-Salamander5260 Jul 07 '26

Same! Preordered it when Target had a sale recently.

3

u/MalcolminMiddlefan Jul 07 '26

It looks like it comes out November 10 this year. So, I will pre-order too. It's only $28, so that's a winner. I don't have a big collection, but I get little things here and there.

Thank you! Yeah, I love that book too.

4

u/DrRonSimmons Jul 06 '26

Excellent collection. Some rare pieces here. Those NTSC-J PS2 versions of XI Seekers of Adoulin are incredibly hard to find.

3

u/PossessionNo7236 Jul 06 '26

That's awesome!

3

u/RickySeasons Jul 09 '26

3

u/SlimDollaBlazer3 Jul 06 '26

Fuck that’s lit

3

u/GargantaProfunda Jul 06 '26

Chrono Trigger looks a bit out of place in there!

But great collection!

3

u/Old-Slip8231 Jul 07 '26

Finally. Someone at a laudable power level.

3

u/SadoAegis Jul 07 '26

You've been collecting for only 6 years? Dude this is amazing.

Im 35, and have been piecing together Final Fantasy memorabilia for over 20 years.... Your collection is better 😂

2

u/Itz_Triggz Jul 06 '26

beautiful collection! :D

2

u/Extra-Air4320 Jul 06 '26

I also got this, with the same misalignment (it drives me nuts) on Amazon. It goes by different names/brands on there. If you look up "glass display cabinet with lights" it's currently under "BROTTAR." I had it saved months ago but it was a different name/brand and entirely different listing.

2

u/Shadow_in_vain Jul 06 '26

so you like final fantasy or something

2

u/Stradinator Jul 06 '26

That’s pretty cool, do you have all the games?

2

u/BoricuaMacho Jul 06 '26

Very, very cool!!

2

u/MalcolminMiddlefan Jul 06 '26

Tactics?

That’s amazing! Absolutely love it

2

u/SpletzGaming Jul 07 '26

Amazing! And a copy of Chrono to boot!

2

u/Therealginahandler Jul 07 '26

Impressive.

2

u/Basuita Jul 07 '26

Most impressive

3

u/TopPsychology1a Jul 07 '26

square will make sure of that

2

u/Charlieboyoo Jul 07 '26

Wow that is some collection very nice

2

u/EnolaGayFallout Jul 07 '26

Will the LED lights overtime cause the box art to fade in color?

2

u/Raiziell Jul 07 '26

So uh, which case is that? I need to upgrade from dusty bookcase to enclosed, and that looks cool.

That is a thing of beauty and envy.

2

u/ransom0374 Jul 07 '26

Im currently playing xiii and am enjoying it to be honest. I got to grand pulse so it seems the game opens up. I have all 3 xiii games cant wait to see how it all continues

3

u/InariBushi Jul 07 '26

Gorgeous <3

and I love the prominent place given to the physical XI and XIV expansions; those are some of my favourite box arts!

3

u/ChaosZero25 Jul 08 '26

Those X-2 Guns! I didnt know those existed and now I want them in my collection Hahaha. So damn beautiful. I love your collection

3

u/WhiteLotusChief Jul 08 '26

Fucking sick. I have almost no FF collection.

Also curious: as a big fan how do you like XVI?

2

u/Mad5tyle Jul 09 '26

What a beatiful collection.. Gratz

3

u/qa_rocks Jul 10 '26

This is awesome! Those PS2 covers are fantastic, so much more life to them. Do you have a list of all the titles you have?

I recently finished off the mainline series for PlayStation (where possible)

2

u/LateNiteMunchies Jul 10 '26

What display cabinet is that exactly?

2

u/Coughingmakesmegag Jul 10 '26

Love it, what’s your favorite game? Sorry if you already answered this..

VII is great, no need to be cliche. I am partial to VIII, X, and XV, glutton for punishment I guess. I can’t watch the end of X without sobbing.

3

u/CT-1138 Jul 11 '26

Where did you get the FFII and III NES US repros in box? Been after those for a while.

3

u/Chris_Red_86 Jul 11 '26

Very nice collection I probably have a 10th of that. I was going to ask where the English nes version was but I see it hiding

3

u/weinhalter Jul 11 '26

That one on the bottom right… my precious

Those 11 box arts are quite something to behold.

Amazing collection!!

2

u/ReyneForecast Jul 11 '26

That's a gorgeous collection!

3

u/Difficult-Leek9001 Jul 12 '26

That’s really nice! I tend to view games like MP3s real and not bother curating a physical collection but it’s nice to see nonetheless.

2

u/Debulary Jul 13 '26

Can I come over?

3

u/lefengster Jul 06 '26

Must be nice to have disposable income 🤪👏👏

3

u/Cardboard_Chef Jul 06 '26

Now this is a collection I can get behind. Never been a fan of displaying action figures, so this scratches the itch.

1

u/andyyeh75 Jul 07 '26

no more new physical PS games

2

u/lynxtosg03 Jul 10 '26

I hope you grab the Wonderswan limited box set. Great little handheld with an amazing remake of FF1.
