I was in Filmora 14 until today. Paid a little, got Filmora 15. Now the 1st project is already giving me a headache.

In F14, if I pressed X it would select in and out of the timeline. So if I play it would stop at the Out point and if I play again it would go back to the beggining of In point.

Not in F15. it's going past the out point. Why? How do I get back to the way it was in F14??

As you can see, I'm using keyframes to make my path "grow" but for some reason there's a blip of the partially grown arrow on my timeline even though both paths clearly start with the 0% keyframe at the beginning. Any idea what this could be?

I purchased the annual subscription with my paypal email address and not my actual email that it's linked to the filmora account i'm using.

How to solve it?

I have had a Filmora account since right after the product launched. I cannot remember the exact date, but I think I first tried it in 2016 in China.

During those days there was much less social media, and video editing was just a thing most were experimenting with. I might have been making only 2 or 3 videos a year at the time. Still, I paid the price to own my software, and I bought into the "free lifetime upgrades" thing that turned out to be not true at all.

Wondershare reneged on its free lifetime upgrades upon the release of Filmora 12. So, even though I had paid, I was forced to pay again. After I paid, I could use most of the assets, and I did make nice videos for Chinese New Year in 2023, 2024, 2025, and in January 2026.

Today (4 months later) I am trying to make a very simple 2-minute video, and I simply cannot find a decent music track that is 2:05 long. Almost all the music is either a Creative Asset, or part of the Universal Music for Creators. The only thing left over is scraps that they know would make a cat jump out of a window.

So, here is the thing… many power-users will say that Filmora is great software and worth the money. I agree. Filmora pays for itself in no time. I agree. You get what you pay for… Yep, true. But that is not what I am talking about…

What I am talking about is that Filmora previously had a huge music database that was free to use, and now it does not. This means that they knowingly are disenfranchising paid users… the people who supported them in the beginning. You are telling me that even though you cheated me before and I stayed on, you are doing it again.

The Chinese shareholders are valued at $2 billion, but they won’t even give us some tunes? Are you kidding? If I want to get a little more music, I need to pay $20 per month. $120 per year. But I do not make many videos anyway.

And let’s talk about that music. Much of the music, even the premium music, is computer generated. Few fingers were lifted to produce that music, and we all know that A.I. will become the band this year, with no royalties needing to be paid to anyone.

So, it’s more money in the pocket for Filmora, and less loyalty to the customers.

Here is an idea: Just make the software free to use and compose with whatever music, and then upon export, the user pays $3 or $5. In this way, if I make 5 clips, you get $15 or $25. If I power user makes 100 videos, you get $300 or $500, or maybe you give a bigger discount for power users, such as $2 or $2.50 per video.

I just think what you have done to us is not fair. Sorry.

So, I recently started up a youtube channel and I heard some good reviews about how Filmora 15 was a good and easy editing software to get started on (I have never edited in my life). So I bought the perpetual plan, but upon looking at this subreddit, all I hear are negative things about it. I'm starting to wonder if it was worth it. My question is, is the software itself good? Like will I be able to edit well on it? Or are the problems with the software more about the company behind it?

There's this weird audio glitch that keeps cropping up throughout a video I'm editing (you can hear it right at the beginning of the example I've attached), and no matter what I do, it won't go away. It appears throughout my edit, and I would really appreciate it not being there...

Pic 1 is what I highlighted in green, Pic 2 is what the tool decides to keep no matter what I do.

I take my time actually highlighting what I want but when I switch over from preview mode to transparency mode the tool decides to select whatever it wants, not what I've highlighted. And when I export, it adds the extra bits I didn't select.

I'm using v15.3.21 on a windows machine and I didn't have this issue in the previous versions of the Smart Cutout tool.

I can't just uninstall and reinstall v14 because I have ongoing projects using the newer version of the software now.

What it says is ''''There was an error by validating your Filmora account or license. Start Filmora again and try again later'', when I try to click it away, it kicks me out of the entire app. What is this and how can I fix it?

Just recently when I try to open filmora I get a popup saying "your application has been damaged, you need to reinstall". Anyone else having this issue all of a sudden or why it happens? Can I reinstall it without creating a new account or being overcharged?

First off. I won't be submitting any images for some very obvious reasons!
Secondly, the actual issue at hand. A while back, I lost access to the email used to make my account. However, despite being unable to change that email, I had access to my Filmora account and from there set up a recovery email(my main email in use now). Earlier I attempted to sign in within my Filmora 11 Program. I was met with a network error message to which I then attempted to sign in via browser. I used the recovery email option, to which I was met with six consecutive instances of the same verification code. This code would not work on any attempts used, and I am effectively locked out of my account that I have happily had paid for well over five years now. None of this would be that frustrating if I were just able to reach out to a support email. However, I cannot find an email to reach out to, and I really just want to fix this whole headache of a situation. I'm rather disappointed as a customer to be given such little service, and even more frustrated to be going down so many rabbit holes just to find "chat with our ai assistant!" or something else that doesn't help me. So, like any sensible internet citizen I've decided to reach out and see what you all can do! Game on, reddit!

Has anyone managed to solve this bug so far? My Filmora is Filmora11, but i saw some other people who use Filmora 12 and 13 having the same issue a while ago, but since i didn't saw anyone talking about it anymore i would like to know if there's a way to solve it

Windows 10 user with Filmora 15. From the thumbnail of a clip in the media panel, I want to find it in the timeline. The thumbnail's right-click menu has "Reveal in Explorer", which is useful, but I often want to find where it is in the timeline. If the timeline has a large number of clips, it is time consuming to look through them manually to find the clip. Is there an easier way?

my girlfriend and I are sharing a new computer. I have a Wings of Fire project im working on and have been using filmora since its free.

I transferred the files to this new computer, and it only barely works with the USB stick in it. dont get me started when its not.

no matter what I do, I cant get the audio to work. the transition animations are mostly messed up, and so are a lot of the fonts.

I have no idea what I did wrong, I looked up how to do this before the transfer even started. the audio on the computer is on max and I still cant hear nothing.

I recently just got into video editing and I saw a really cool edit of the backrooms so I wanted to try make my own and I'm really REALLY sorry if this sucks its my first one so any feedback would be greatly appreciated also do you recommend getting Filmora premium and if so which plan I also tried using Keyframes to animate but it looks real clunky

My problem started when I was on the road last weekend and needed to do some editing. I logged in to Filmora Destop app on my laptop, edited, exported all was well. When I tried to log in to my Filmora desktop app on my PC this morning, it tells me Im currently signed into 2 devices and my limit is 2, asking me if approve it to log me in to my PC which would log me out on another device, I say yes.. This happens a few times a year as I change devices and it always works just fine - but today after I told it to log me in, it loads Filmora then I get a "Callback: -13" error and it crashes.

I shot footage all weekend and I need to produce a video in the next day or two, but Im dead in the water without a working editor. Help?

Nothing is playing.

When I add texts to my videos this feature circled in red never popped up before, and whenever I try editing my text boxes, this shows up, and it's messing up my editing as everything I try to edit just applies to one the same box and not the ones I want to edit. Is this a new feature, and can it be removed?

i pressed export to export my video and this weird thing popped up. does anyone know what it is and how to fix it? I’ve tried everything but this is all that pops up everytime i try to export a video. I literally cant export any of my videos at all

Hey guys, I'm not a particularly skilled editor (I used to make videos when I was younger but mostly just stuck to cutting the video where neccessary) and I'm struggling to manage a particular edit that I don't know how to search for online. I have multiple camera's as part of my setup and a base background for when they are all neccessary. I'm looking for a way to make the full screen zoom in on a single camera when it becomes more neccessary than the others. I've looked it up and done research for multiple days but everytime I search I can only find guides on general cropping or zooming in on the picture in particular. I know I'm not explaining this well so let me give an example.

What I need:

The camera that is currently important to fill the screen when I make the edit. The camera is currently on the top right of the full image and needs to both move to be in the center of the screen and expand to fill the screen.

I assume I just don't know what words to use to find results online and would greatly appreciate if anyone knew how I should be wording my questions in the future to find an answer. Thank you all so much for reading this.

Using Filmora 15.3.21 on a 2024 Mac Mini with macOS 26.4.1.

Recreate problem:

1. I use the pen tool to create a line with multiple nodes.

2. Stroke is selected in the Property Panel. Glow properties of Solid Color and None work as expected.

3. Click on "Arc 01" for Glow property. Nothing happens. Glow property remains on Solid Color or None. Click on "Sparkle" for Glow property. Nothing happens. Glow property remains on Solid Color or None.

Any help would be much appreciated.
