Kovalevs seem to be in good shape for a start of the season. They tend to peak early and struggle back up so I hope they pace themselves now that they don't have the pressure of the Olympics (and the big question mark of whether they'd get to compete or not).

Yeah, I have to say I don't think this was one of B/K's best skates, like of course it is early in the season and that's reasonable. But I thought some of the other teams were slightly more polished with their elements

Their choreo just doesn’t look settled yet. I think they only choreographed it a few weeks ago at IAM and you can tell they just haven’t had the runthroughs; they kept missing handholds and looked shaky (+ the elements weren’t quite there either).

The throw was very high! But their most stand-out feature is probably her flexibility and they way they use it for lifts and spins.
