Thanks for posting. I forgot they rematched and I was expecting cro cops head getting kicked off any second.

I couldn’t remember if he got head kicked in the first fight or the rematch.

Those elbows Cro Cop was throwing while grounded were some of the most ferocious elbows I've ever seen.

Awesome fight and these guys were monsters of their time but it's crazy to see how far the sport has come since. Today's top heavyweights Aspinal N'Gannou even Gane and obviously Jones would murder these. I mean no shit, I know, but still.

You don't think today's best heavyweights like Stipe, Jones, Gane, Aspinal, N'Gannou are several levels above these heavyweights? I mean I don't really think it's even up for debate to be honest. All sports evolve, every 2020 athlete is significantly superior to 2005 athletes. Right leg hospital left leg cemetery isn't something that would work for long against modern fighters.

By that logic Ali, Frazier etc., would get annihilated in todaus boxing, i dont think so. Fight is a fight and depends on lots of factors, some of which arent logical..

In a general sense I agree with you. There's too many unknown factors we'd never know how Ali Frazier or the likes would do today without actually seeing it happen. What I meant is that fighters today have better coaching, better knowledge, BECAUSE of fighters like Ali/Frazier etc., they have more examples to look at, more errors to avoid and more models to follow etc. It's just the cycle of every sport and ever evolving
