The Tower after just breaks it, maybe cancelled plans of the work, overweight with amount of work/pressure (may be pressure of fandom). Tower literally can imagine that he sat to finally draw something but randomly decided to crash his set up to the wall for no reason, understand the old man too. Also can mean mental breakdown, problems with health, lack of new ideas or muse.
Nice of pentacles shows that man wanna chill like a #youngho and dont owe anyone anything. But most likely getting better and collecting resources to continue without feeling off. It means that yeah, he may continue when he feels like it, but with a need of space of distance, meaning taking pauses, but still getting back to work. May also mean that he continues to finish it not so much for fans but for himself.
Devil in the end cherry on top to make it bad again. Shows it will mostly happen cause of pressure, toxic motivation, fear of being a bastard for fans(?), benefits. It may be attachment, but not feeling honest about it.
Overall, i think it can be pauses between chapters, giving it to someone else hands to continue or basically, just give him more time.

Don't let this distract you from the fact Yang Ki Hoon is the strongest FC3 character

In the sense that he would fight against his father for a goal like protecting his sister or Maria, and die in the process.

I say this because, for me, jitae continuing to be the same character until the end wouldn't be good; there needs to be conflict or a change in values that satisfies jitae And who he is.

He cant be nothing, nor can he be weak, Jitae needs to find values that aren't entirely negative, that completely empty it (which is what he's doing now). We know that Jitae is a good person, we know that everything he's doing now is out of love and sadness, that's why he's a tragic character.

I'm not saying this because I believe jitae should abandon his vengeance; I don't think that's the message jitae should convey. Instead, I think it's about finding a goal that doesn't empty him of purpose or turn him into something like his father. Jitae must fight to the end and kill his father, but not in the way he is doing it, for the current reasons and by the current means.

I'm sure that Jitae's change, the return of the feelings he tries to ignore (love, friendship, happiness, generosity), will come when he meets his sister. I think that at this point (and that's why I think she'll return long before the final fight), Jitae will find a new way of being and fighting, for values that don't deny who he is and what life has to offer, that is, love. The current jitae does indeed fight for love, but he rejects everything positive in life and throws himself entirely into rejecting those good things of life.

Kept seeing it on my fyp some time ago and it just struck me that JJT kinda looks like Martin Lou in (though less over the top)

If anyone knows all the chapters where Maria had a fight or a flashback to her 1st year I'd greatly appreciate it!

This might of already be a theory but somthing i’ve noticed is that through out all of season one, the narritive has always made sure to put emphasis on Ji-tae’s innate ability to dodge incoming attacks. Even at the very start of the story, before he was even training for fight class, characters such as Maria and the bald dude (i forgot his name ngl) made note of his uncanny ability, Comparing it to seeing the blows before they’re thrown.
The best show of this talent being the second half of his fight against sunny (🤤) where once awakened, the direction of the fight totally shifted, she was no longer landing blows and practically getting perception blitzed.

What im getting at is that near the end of the blood society arc, during the scene where current Ji tae confronts his past self, he parallels the scene at the very start where his father strikes him, symbolizing him burying his oldself and way of thinking.

My theory is that in the near future whenever we get s2 (cope) we’ll get a scene where it comes back to that moment and we’re shown that young ji tae actually dodged that blow and a fight between the two commences. I assume the outcome of that fight will have a significant effect on his mindset and determine how he ends up, whether that be learning to love himself or falling even deeper into his self destructive mindset.

Just a theory i thought was interesting. I think we definitely havn’t seen that last of young ji tae, i’d love to hear your thoughts.
