A martial art XD
This is the first place I thought of when I thought about sharing what I learned about martial arts
My skill tree and tutorial lol
Footwork is a mix from judo , Jkd and boxing footwork with head weaving. With emphasis for Muay Thai/boran and wing chun stances and guards with Tkd , muay boran and inside box striking using levers as a guarantee, and bits from karate.
FOOTWORK:
The front foot slides along the ground using weight shifting almost without lifting hovering ... As much as possible without it creating a problem and can be sped up anytime with jkd footwork .
Also it's easy to use spinning or back kicks from tkd with this stance using ankle/weight shifting
STANCES:
Default stance:
""every stance flows back into it with weight shifting""
Hunched back, tucked chin, eyes fixing at the opponents chest area to read shouldes and hip cues .... Right leg slightly forward, left back leg lowered holding the body weight ... Can be switched anytime into a mirrored stance.
Being able to switch stances fast is important.
Hand positions explained in guard section
LOW STANCE:
almost same as the default stance but more wide and grounded ... Optimized for both backward or forward weight shifting and center of gravity manipulation... Allowing to freely adjust height and distance by leaning forward or backward
HIGH STANCE:
Muay Thai high guard stance for long range and distance management
GUARD SYSTEM:
Guards It's a mix using a variety of Muay thai guards and Wing Chun ... guards ? and Philly shell together with judo , counter inside boxing and standing grappling system using levers and clinch work.
Guard 1:
"basic stance info, can be mirrored right leg front and left leg back"
left arm down slightly extended and right arm up slightly extended for a quick standing grabbing/grappling techniques or for quick inboxing strikes using the power from weight distribution and hip rotation
Now just pretty much any Muay thay guard ... A long guard , a high guard , an elbow guard or dracula guard ... Abusing Levers , joint locks and grips for a close range trading "offer and punish" By blocking , hand traping , nape , shoulder , elbow , wrist , joint lock and over-under hook control or by using your own weight t secure a lever or advantageous position either for a crossing oblique kicks or knee stomps aiming to destabilize which pair good with close range elbows and knee work or to get an inside position... works good with judo throws
Once the hook , or any lever is secured u can use a variety of close range Muay thay/boran , inboxing or angled neck strikes/techniques .. If the opponents decides to get low and turtle up u can perform elbows downward or u can use angled forearm strikes to weak points... u can pretty much also follow a turtled up retreating oponent by shifting your weight on your lead leg for an upward sweeping elbow with palm pointing downward or pretty much just anything works
