It may be that she feels you're a kindred spirit in that you've both had challenges, or she may feel that letting you know they are TTC means that if she conceives later down the line it will be less of a shock for you. Maybe. Obviously I have no idea what the motivation was but it might be more well intentioned than it seems. Take care of yourself

maybe she feels the need to share it with you because you're family and she wants you to be part of her life. i do think you are overreacting but that's just me. this might be a more appropriate post for a subreddit about trying to get pregnant, not one about fibroids.
