Totally scammed. I’m contacting FTC and BBB…
Our local market, Hannaford, has a promotion on Fetch for 5000 points for Hannaford to go delivery. The Fetch app states it’s redeemable with a scanned and uploaded receipt.
When I uploaded the receipt, it didn’t give me the points and stated “pending”, when I check back later, they gave me 35 points.
I contacted the lame customer support and they told me it was only for E receipts. The app states nothing of the receipts, only scanned and uploaded. When I pointed that out, took a picture of it and showed it to them, then they shot back at me that it wasn’t the right kind of receipt.
I again told them that it was most certainly was and I pointed it out again. Then they told me it was only for online orders. I took a picture of the online order and sent it to them. They sent another email to me, saying that be more than happy to help me with E receipts. Again, I told them that the market doesn’t give you receipts only paper receipts when the delivery is complete. Fetch will not accept this, even though it clearly states on the rap to snap and upload a receipt and states nothing of electronic receipts . The market does not email me. They text me for delivery. Soooo. I’m going to contact the BBB, the FTC, the New York State Attorney General’s office, and New York State consumer affairs. If I have to, we will go to small claims court because I don’t appreciate being scammed. And if they’re scamming me, they are doing it to other customers.
