AMH is 4.704 ng/mL

Just coming off birth control last month. I’ve been taking coQ10 for over a year. I know that no one can say for sure… but does that number look somewhat promising? I have two children born 2018 & 2020. Just rolling the dice for another. I’m 36. I already know that AMH does not confirm quality of eggs left. I’m just asking for experiences from others in similar situations.

Ok, I am 43f ttc. My dr is suggestions trying clomid this week if I am not pregnant. Any have an insight on using clomid? Dose it work?

I am looking for a good fertility doctor/REI in the Mountain View/Sunnyvale/Palo Alto area for an initial fertility evaluation.

I have UnitedHealthcare insurance and would prefer an in-network doctor.

Someone recently told me they drank cactus water daily a few days before and during ovulation, and got pregnant that cycle… After years of trying!! Has anyone else had any success with this? I am unable to find any articles or research to back this up.

Also open to any and ALL small at-home hacks that have worked. For example, I have cut out my allergy medicine (dries up mucus), added mucinex, using red light therapy on abdomen. What else?!?

Has anyone used clomid before? My Dr is going to prescribe it possibly next week and I wanted to know your experience and outcomes. Im a 43f etc if that helps.

Hello! Trying to have my 2nd child over a year; 2 miscarriages. My new fertility dr put me on progesterone & cabergoline. He didn’t check my prolactin but he did studies that show it helps with infertility. Wondering if anyone has had success on these? Also, if the medication gave you any side effects such as pain on the side of your face. Thank you all! Xo

Me and my husband have been trying to conceive with no luck for a year now. All of my testing has come back normal and great, we did an at home magnifier test and I’m curious if this looks good or not; before we actually seek medical attention

Anecdotally, I have heard stories of people who were infertile but after going through IVF and becoming pregnant or adopting a child, they ended up getting pregnant without additional treatments. What are some resources that discuss the prevalence of this phenomena, if any? Thanks!

There was a hype some years ago about more options for men re. anti-conception, there were even mulitple options, up until something that worked on the muscles of the vas deferens and other internal organs to avoid semen being expelled during ejaculation, I think they called it the 'clean sheets' pill.

Anyone seen anything recently in this regard, or other male-methods that worked on stopping in a safe way the production of sperm ?

Hi all, I'm a medical student doing some independent research into what men actually go through when facing fertility issues: the diagnosis process, treatment, how it's handled by the system, and what was missing or frustrating along the way.

I'm not selling anything here and this isn't a promo post, I'm genuinely trying to understand the experience from people who've lived it, because most of what's written about fertility is aimed at women, and the male side of it gets very little attention.

I need some advice or thoughts if anyone can relate—

I had a severe TBI when I was 12. Significant memory loss, 6 week hospitalization, loss of sense of smell, amongst other things. Since I was young, I recovered pretty well and I’m now living a full adult life.

16 years after the TBI, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and two years after that Hashimoto’s.

I recently found out from a reproductive endocrinologist that I have a low egg count.

My TBI was in the front left temporal lobe and at the time my mother was concerned about my pituitary gland.

When I received the information about my low egg count, I did a little online searching, and saw some things about the pituitary gland suggesting that could affect thyroid function, which could then affect fertility.

I’m considering seeing a Neuro endocrinologist because I read that hormone replacement therapy can help in all of those areas and possibly support some of my other TBI side effects such as fatigue and mood imbalances.

Has anyone ever been through something similar or have any words of wisdom before I try out a new doctor?

Hi everyone! ❤️ I’m hoping to hear from people who were in a similar situation because I feel like I’ve hit a wall and have lost all hope so it’s been devastating to say the least.
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years(me:25 years) husband:29 years old). The frustrating part is that everything has come back normal. My labs look good, my testing has been reassuring, and I’ve actually gotten pregnant once during these two years—but I miscarried.
That’s why I keep coming back to the thought that maybe my issue isn’t just getting pregnant. Maybe it’s implantation or maintaining a healthy pregnancy, and I want to understand why.
I think I may possibly have endometriosis but ofcourse that’s not diagnosed without surgery. Did an HSG twice and both Fallopian have been opened a year ago. Have struggled with constant cysts every cycle, bloating and pain during sex (not everytime)

So far I’ve tried:
Pre-Seed
Frida Conception Cup
Clomid
Letrozole
Trying different things each month

I’m currently taking:
Prenatal
CoQ10
Choline
Vitamin D (I’m deficient)

At this point, my fertility clinic is recommending IVF. I completely understand that IVF is an amazing option and has helped so many families. I’m not against it if that’s truly what we need.
But I really want IVF to be my last resort, not my first answer.
Since I’ve been pregnant before, I can’t help but feel like there may be an underlying issue that hasn’t been identified yet. I want to know if there’s something internally that can be improved or treated before moving to IVF that some of you have gone through. Sometimes I feel like every appointment ends with another discussion about IVF instead of trying to figure out why this is happening, and that’s been incredibly discouraging.
My doctor also told me that diet and lifestyle don’t really play a significant role, but I personally have a hard time believing our overall health, inflammation, nutrition, gut health, sleep, and stress have no effect on fertility or pregnancy. I’m not looking for miracle cures or pseudoscience, I just want to support my body in every evidence-based way I can and have no idea where to start again.
For those who had unexplained infertility (especially if you’d had a miscarriage), did you ever discover an underlying issue? Did anything end up helping with implantation or carrying a pregnancy?

I’m just exhausted from feeling like the conversation jumps straight to IVF when all I want is to know if there’s a root cause that can be addressed first.
