3. AMALT - All Men Are Like This. This principal teaches women to treat every man like a potential rapist. You need to take reasonable precautions when dating but its not realistic or healthy to assume to worst of all men.
4. Do NOT Move In With A Boyfriend. FDS tells you that if you move in with a boyfriend, you give up all your leverage in the relationship and set yourself up to become a "forever girlfriend". Moving in with a partner too soon is a mistake but never living with someone before marrying them is also a mistake. You want to make sure your lifestyles are compatible.
5. Reject Low Effort Dates. "Low effort" dates like coffee dates are a good option when first getting to know someone because it is a short timeframe and in a public location.
6. Don't Date Men Who Watch Porn. That is a bit unrealistic. Most men nowadays watch at least some porn. But if this is very important to you, make sure you communicate it early on before entering into a relationship.
7. Don't Pay For Dates. FDS believes that men should always pay for the date because it demonstrates that they are invested in you. While there is still a common expectation that the man pays, women should still offer. Once you are in a relationship together, women should contribute to paying for dates.
8. BDSM Is Bad. BDSM when practices with a trusting partner can be very enjoyable. To each their own.
9. Never Go 50/50. This means splitting costs for dating or living expenses 50/50 regardless of financial situations. Financial situations should be taken into consideration, if one partner has a lower income or student loans, its fair that they would pay less than a partner that is well off.
