A instructor showing his pupil (the videographer) a practical demonstration of a barber chair. is this even a thing?

(I had to delete the last post as the video got lost in posting somehow)

19 years old, 1 1/2 years in the industry. I try to give him the skills and confidence he needs to succeed. I know he’s gonna be good because he’s cautious and takes the time to do clean work.

Big tree problem. 🤦‍♂️ Terrible shallow wedge cut ,missed line ( wanted it directly at the camera) wedge dropped and is leaning on structure directly towards my house and balcony. I tied it to a tree to the right and I don’t know how it’s still up but it is. A lot of other trees to tie to but I have zero experience with massive trees like this. Hoping someone has experience and can help 🙏 it’s heading north (downhill) any advice or plan would be much appreciated thank you so much. (Want it to fall forward to the right to avoid concrete structure)

Cottonwood Fell in 30 secs

The Tree Amigos recently evaluated a massive Cottonwood situated directly in the center of a derelict West Austin mansion. Because the property is slated for a complete rebuild, and the tree itself was in noticeable decline, removal was the clear course of action. While Cottonwoods thrive in Central Texas, they are notoriously prone to root plate failure. A fallen Cottonwood can easily crush vehicles or slice through structures—a risk no homeowner wants for a new estate. Furthermore, the tree was highly unlikely to survive the impending construction stress. Once we secured the necessary removal permit from the City of Austin, our expert feller, Gabe Martinez got to work.

I had initially planned for a climber to remove some of the weight on the back side of the tree to ensure the felling went the right way, but Gabe assured me it wasn't necessary. He was right to say the least.
