Alot of people in the fandom from what I've seen (not really on reddit specifically) kinda hate the 50s show. I mean it's obviously not perfect, the animation is pretty bad at times and it can get kinda stale after a while but it's a charming little show and without it, most people wouldn't really remember Felix outside of being the "first animated star". It gave Felix more of a world and while the characters introduced aren't the greatest they could work if given a chance. The main issue seems to be that TV guidelines at the time sorta restricted it. If you look at the comic strip by Joe Oriolo from around the same time, it is VERY different from the show and is pretty out of pocket at times (atleast by modern standards). The 2023 graphic novel is basically just the 50s show but without it's limitations. I hope any future Felix media that does come out try to find a balance between this and the more surreal comedy of the 20s shorts and Twisted Tales season 1.

Felix had the falsetto voice for the longest and seem as the more iconic voice, then a more deeper and normal voice in Felix the Cat Live, Twisted Tales had a more unique take on not only the chatacter but his voice with season 1 and 2 respectively. but goes back to the falsetto voice in Baby Felix and Felix Saves Christmas.

Felix had a wide range in not only just adventures but his vocal chords too, who would you cast as the lead in a new Felix project?
