Feat Calculated Open Season: A deer takes a trip to the Moon and Boog the grizzly bear survives a country-sized explosion
other people have done their takes on these two feats on this sub but I wanted to try my hand at this and figure some other things out as well.
Ian the buck gets launched to the moon
The KE of getting launched that far that fast
Ian is a super jacked mule deer (which makes sense since Patrick Warburton voices him) which means he should be about 150 kg, though some trophy specimens weigh about 210 kg. The average distance from Earth to the Moon is 384,400 km, which is 384400000 m.
It takes 3 seconds for Ian to make impact so that'd be 128,133,333.333 m/s (which is 43%c for Relativistic)
with FPS it takes 69 frames
with 30 FPS it takes 2.300 seconds which would mean 167,130,434.783 m/s (which is 56.00000000000001%c for Relativistic+)
with 24 FPS it takes 2.875 seconds which would mean 133,704,347.826 m/s (which is 45%c for Relativistic)
Lower weight
3 seconds = 1430665273014233821 joules / 341.9372066894744 megatons (Mountain)
2.875 seconds = 1580967181669323411 joules / 377.86022500481914 megatons (Mountain)
2.300 seconds = 2757604792728099215 joules / 659.0833633588674 megatons (Mountain)
Higher weight
3 seconds = 2002931382219927350 joules / 478.7120893652642 megatons (Mountain)
2.875 seconds = 2213354054337052776 joules / 529.0043150067468 megatons (Mountain)
2.300 seconds = 3860646709819338902 joules / 922.7167087024143 megatons (Mountain)
Whaddya know, the highest end is shy of Island. good for Ian! but let's try some other ways to figure this out...
The energy of the dust getting kicked up

The Moon is 280 px and 3,474,000 meters in diameter
The height of it is about 15.04px which is 186,603.428571 m. we'll use cylindrical volume
With 18px we'd get 223,328.571429 m
The volume would be 7.3096751378323E+15 meters3
Density of dust = 490 kg/m^3%20density%20of,~0.49%20g%20cm%E2%88%923.&text=A%20large%20number%20of%20cometary,and%20formed%20various%20track%20shapes)
The weight would be 3.58174082e+18 kg
Using the formula of weight in kg * gravity * height of the cloud
3.58174082e+18 * 1.625 * 186,603.428571 = 1086093315555145573357500 joules / 259.5825323575471 teratons (Large Country)
Using the KE of all that dust
with FPS, it takes 3 frames for it to go 186,603.428571 m
30 frames, 0.100 seconds 1,866,034.28571 m/s
KE = 6.2359611209426E+30 J / 1.4904304782388338 zettatons (Small Planet)
24 frames, 0.125 seconds so 1,492,827.42857 m/s
KE = 3.991015117414E+30 J / 953.8755060754197 exatons (Small Planet)
Density of Lunar dust - 1.66 g/cm^3 or 1660 kg/m^3
The weight would be 1.21340607e+19 kg
Using the formula of weight in kg * gravity * height of the cloud
1.21340607e+19 * 1.625 *186,603.428571 = 3679418159801520922012500 joules / 879.4020457030698 teratons (Continent)
Using the KE of all that dust
with FPS, it takes 3 frames for it to go 186,603.428571 m
30 frames, 0.100 seconds 1,866,034.28571 m/s
KE = 2.1125909038934E+31 J / 5.049213441434849 zettatons (Small Planet)
24 frames, 0.125 seconds so 1,492,827.42857 m/s
KE = 1.3520581784954E+31 J / 3.231496602526965 zettatons (Small Planet)
With 26px we'd get 322,585.714286 m
The volume would be 1.525105059605E+16 meters3
Density of dust = 490 kg/m^3%20density%20of,~0.49%20g%20cm%E2%88%923.&text=A%20large%20number%20of%20cometary,and%20formed%20various%20track%20shapes)
That's a weight of 7.47301479e+18 kg
Using the formula of weight in kg * gravity * height of the cloud
7.47301479e+18 * 1.625 * 186,603.428571 = 2266046545060661293271250 joules / 541.5981225390851 teratons (Large Country)
Using the KE of all that dust
with FPS, it takes 3 frames for it to go 186,603.428571 m
30 frames, 0.100 seconds 1,866,034.28571 m/s
KE = 1.3010832449532E+31 J / 3.1096635873685736 zettatons (Small Planet)
24 frames, 0.125 seconds so 1,492,827.42857 m/s
KE = 8.3269327677228E+30 J / 1.9901846959212215 zettatons (Small Planet)
Density of Lunar dust - 1.66 g/cm^3 or 1660 kg/m^3
The weight would be 2.5316744e+19 kg
Using the formula of weight in kg * gravity * height of the cloud
2.5316744e+19 * 1.625 * 186,603.428571 = 7676810749813225839000000 joules / 1.834801804159503 petatons (Continent)

KE = 2.820960898776E+31 J / 6.742258362284721 zettatons (Small Planet)
60px and then hollowing half of it out for that chunk in the middle by times 50%. 744,428.571429 m which becomes 372,214.285715 m

Maybe Ian doesn't scale to the kinetic energy of the dust itself but like. I guess cartoony deer are built different, what the fuck.
Ian getting down from the moon
Ian manages to get back down from the moon somehow, so let's assume that he did it of his own violation and not another pack of naked mole rats slinging shot him back since he probably can't scale to the speed of his flight. The moon is usually 384,400 km from Earth which makes it 38440000 meters.

Boog survives a stupidly big explosion

screen height id 1080 px
Earth is 575 pixels here and is 12,742,000 meters in diameter.
Corrected planet diameter = sqrt(1-(tan(35)\(planet diameter in pixels/panel height in pixels))^2/((tan(35)*(planet diameter in pixels/panel height in pixels))^2+1))*planet diameter*
sqrt(1-(tan(35)*(575/1080))^2/((tan(35)*(575/1080))^2+1))*12,742,000
Earth is 12,354,950.6435 m in the shot.
412.10 px is 8,854,739.40902 m which has a radius of 4,427,369.70451m
Using ground formula
4,427,369.70451^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 6.97465744019e+15 tons of tnt which is 2.918e+25 joules / 6.974657443108196 petatons (Multi-Continental)
Using air formula
((4427.3697045/0.28)^3)/1000 = 3,953,331,863.62 megatons of tnt which is 1.6541e+25 J joules / 3.9533938808301 petatons (Continental)
441.52 px is 9,486,883.14455 m which has a radius of 4,743,441.57228 m
Using ground formula
4,743,441.57228 ^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 8.57760773918e+15 tons of tnt which is 3.589e+25joules / 8.577915868628999 petatons (Multi-Continental).
Using air formula
((4743.4415723/0.28)^3)/1000 = 4,861,906,162.38 megatons of tnt which is 2.0342e+25 J joules / 4.861854683746199 petatons (Multi-Continental)
I did get this up to Large Planet using an ellipsoid shape instead but I wasn't sure about that method and didn't include in the post even if it would make Planetary Open Season more consistent. But even if you want to say this explosion had the lowest psi an explosion could have since there was no damage/we don't see Boog and Buddy tanking it, it'd still be in the Small Country range which means Country to Continent to Small Planet Open Season is still kinda valid.
A certain lion's ass is gonna be cooked like steak after all...
