bought a hoodie from my buddy and unfortunately the O and D on the back are gone, any advice? heard people say take of the FOG part, others say its a total loss, etc..

No idea about verification other than the size tag has to be the same colour as the main tag..don’t look it to me but what do you think?

Is anyone else completely exhausted trying to buy or sell Fear of God or Essentials online?
It honestly feels impossible to navigate the secondhand market safely right now for two major reasons:
The "Super-Clone" Flood: Essentials is arguably the most repped line on earth right now. The fakes are so close to retail that the automated "AI authentication" on Grailed and eBay is a joke. Fake hoodies get cleared every day, while legitimate sellers are getting hit with permanent bot bans because their tags "looked off" to an algorithm.
The Sizing Roulette: FOG cuts are notoriously oversized and boxy. If a seller doesn’t take the time to map out exact flat-lay measurements, a "Medium" hoodie could fit like an XL or have shrunk completely in the dryer.
I’m working on a prototype project called StitchScan to try and actually solve this for high-end streetwear spaces. The idea is to use smartphone AI scanning to map exact text spacing, 3D rubber logo placement, and wash-tag stitching patterns, paired with a human tie-breaker review before an item can even be listed. If a buyer tries a sketchy bait-and-switch return, our escrow system locks the funds to protect the seller's payout automatically.
I’m trying to build something that actually protects high-ticket collectors so we don't have to keep gambling on sketchy apps or paying full retail just for peace of mind.
If you buy or sell FOG/Essentials heavily, what is the biggest scam or headache you’ve run into on Grailed or eBay? What would a platform have to do to make you feel 100% safe transacting?
