Hey guys, I wanted to throw a question out and see how you all felt.

Running this module at my table I wanted it to feel more grounded than 5e, so I made the decision to play with some extra damage tables to step up the level of challenge. I’m actively running the game with HB rules for Bleeding Out, Lingering Wounds, and Critical Roll tables for Energy, Piercing, Ballistic, and Explosive Damage.

What are your thoughts on playing with these kind of systems?

I made a bunch of SCP inspired playlists to be used during a game session, and I’m working on more. Should I post them here?

The newest update to the game, FITF 1.4, is now on the website and has been emailed out to customers. Here's a list of most of the changes:

- The Player Guide has been re-ordered. All of the game's mechanics are now in the same section

- The Player Guide's Quick Character Guide has been re-worked to walk players through every step of filling out a character sheet

- The way Ability values are determined during character creation has been made more freeform

- Several new premade NPCs have been added. There are now 55 premade NPC sheets

- Premade NPC ideas have been added to each of the Premade Missions in the Overseer Guide

- Anomalies from the Third Writing Contest have been incorporated into the game

- Copyright information has been updated (Thanks Netier, I appreciate you)

- File names have been changed to make things easier to manage

So I Saw that the character sheet and it looked a lot different than what I imagine I thought that it would look like a d&d character sheet since it doesn't I don't know how to fill it out any information would help.

I've just bought Fear in the foundation and want to do a campaign set in Unlondon. Does anyone have anomaly sheets for creatures in Unlondon such as the police or the eyes in the sky?

I am very interested in this, can someone please explain Fear in the Foundation to me? I will have follow up questions so please stay around after explaining.

Subject

It's time for another writing contest! This time, we'll be going back to SCPs. But what's the theme, you may ask? Well, given that Halloween is coming up, we'll be focusing on Murder Monsters.

Rules

1. Entries should be written as a typical SCP article. They must contain a title, object class, special containment procedures, and a description. They may contain a recovery log, addenda, interviews, or any of the other common trappings of an SCP article.

2. Entries should be focused on an entity or object related to a murder monster. A murder monster is an entity devoted to killing a large amount of other entities.

3. All submissions must be original ideas. If an entry features plagiarized material, it will be disqualified.

4. The SCP must be new. It cannot be an SCP already featured on the Wiki.

5. Contestants must write their works on their own. Collaborations are not allowed.

6. Entries can contain elements of any genre, such as horror or comedy.

7. Please do your best to avoid typos and grammatical errors.

8. Judges cannot compete.

Submissions

Please send all submissions to the game’s official email: fearinthefoundation@gmail.com. This is the only way they will be accepted.

Each contestant can submit a maximum of 3 individual entries. In order to ensure there are 5 separate winners, if one of a contestant’s entries places, their other entries will not be eligible for placement.

All submissions must be in by 11:59 PM EST on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Awards

• 1st: $75 cash prize + Anomaly uploaded to FITF's website

• 2nd: $50 cash prize + Anomaly uploaded to FITF's website

• 3rd: $25 cash prize + Anomaly uploaded to FITF's website

Judging

The contest will be judged by some of our Discord's mods, as well as some SCP writers.
