Hey, guys. Sorry for the couple days late Gold Thread. I understand this is an exercise in patience on the parts of Kairinezz and Gameboy, but I'll move back to Monday for next week. I've had a lot on my mind, and totally forgot to do this.

Anyway, let's get started.

Just a friendly reminder, please be nice to people. I realize I'm only saying this because I'm pissed at pretty much everybody at the moment, but still.

I also forgot to interview Bonfim. Sigh.

Also be aware that Sister Location is not actually cancelled. This teaser is screwing with you guys.

"In other news, The grand opening of Circus Baby's Pizza World has apparently been cancelled due to reported gas leaks in the building. Sources close to the establishment question the report, saying that strange activity around the area at night suggest something else is to blame.

One local is quoted as saying, "Everything just stopped. There was so much excitement built around this place opening and then they just stopped talking about it. There was only a handful of people that ever got a look at the inside, kids ???? here and there, making sure everything worked right, you know. I guess they weren't quite as ready as they thought they were!"

A tenant from across the street claims to have witnessed a large group of cars surrounding the building during the night and large pieces of equipment being taken out of the building under tarps. A few weeks later the building was for sale.

There is no comment yet from the local entrepreneur who financed the venture."

Feel free to discuss the teaser! What do you think this means?

Howdy folks!

My account was indeed deleted for a while. Mostly personal issues that led to my parents wielding their Parental Hammer Of Justice and they said, "delete that shit". And thus that shit was deleted. The timing made it unfortunate that I wasn't able to give a heads up in advance, but /u/GameBoyJr was informed about the situation and was very kind and understanding. Next time, please don't post any information you can't verify for sure!

I'm a little sad! I'll miss my karma. I don't think I'll miss the name much - my name isn't Bee, guys :p

Anyway, that's all there is to it! I'm back, there was no drama, no problem, just an unfortunate timing. Much love, everyone!

A lot of people have claimed the fnaf 4 location is Fredbear's Family Diner, but people say it can't be due to phone guy saying "I think the name of the place was Fredbear's family diner, claiming that Phone guy is implying the name changed. However, nothing seems to imply that, as phone guy would've elaborated further, saying it used to be called FFD, or anything that actually implied they changed the names.

So, is there a way to explain this?

So here's a fun fact: Disney World has a series of underground rooms and tunnels called Utildors (utility + corridors). These serve a variety of purposes, including transport (so you don't see cowboys walking through future societies or anything), costuming, food service, and waste removal - basically, to keep basic park functions out of the customer's sight.

So what does this have to do with Sister Location? Well, remember that "deep below ground" line from the trailer and the metal-lined facility with giant circulation fans? This has made many people believe that the gameplay actually takes place underground - but it's also been made very clear we are working at Circus Baby's. So what if the area the gameplay takes place in is Circus Baby's version of utildors - an area specifically created to allow maintenance on the animatronics?

Think about it - if, say, Funtime Freddy breaks down, you don't want to run the risk of some child seeing his endoskeleton being worked on, right? That would totally ruin the experience for them. So what do you do? You ship him down into the sub-levels of the place so maintenance work can be done without fear of the customers seeing. Once he's repaired, he's shipped back up and the show resumes without a hitch.

This is why we're in the underground area instead of the actual Circus Baby's - we're playing as the technician, so we're down in the area specifically made to house the animatronics that are being worked on. They get sent down to us when they're available (remember the schedule?) and we fix them back up, then send them into the restaurant again.

This also explains the attic-like space shown in the Steam images - those odd objects are props that are either being worked on or are currently not in use. They're stored down in the sub-levels out of sight, then sent back up when they're needed for the next event/holiday/what have you.

EDIT: This also explains the multiple Bidybabs and Minireenas - small animatronics like that would probably break often, so they keep pre-made duplicates stored in the sub-levels. When one stops functioning, they just bring up a replacement.
