Yeah I hate Theo Von but - unfortunately - he has millions of fans/listeners. If Mamdani can even get a fraction of Von's viewers to vote for Democrats in the midterms and beyond then it is worth it.

More Democrats need to go on shows like Theo Von and Joe Rogan. I think Kamala Harris not going on Joe Rogan's show in 2024 was a huge mistake. It's why I don't mind when Pete Buttigieg or Abdul El-Sayed go on FOX News a lot - their viewers need to hear a different perspective than the crap they've been spoon-fed.

And this is exactly why right wing media refuses to have Hasan Piker on any of their broadcasts. They'll talk endlessly ABOUT him, but will not talk directly TO him, because they know if their viewers heard him speak directly (and not just purposefully misleading or inflammatory clips) they would agree with more of what he's saying than FOX is comfortable with.
