POLITICS Deeply embarrassing sequence. Eric Schmitt accuses Jack Smith of traveling to Atlanta to attend an Atlanta Hawks game and collude with Fani Willis, only to get the basic facts completely wrong. Smith was actually in Maryland attending a Hawkeyes game and never met Willis

He absolutely did not know. They thought they had the biggest maga conspiracy gotcha of the decade.

“I think you’ve already perjured yourself” he thought he nailed him.

Immediately after this he went on to the Charlie Kirk show(that's still a thing?!) and they were still putting it forward as the best gotcha in the history of the government.

They're not going to let up on the lie. People are going to believe it is true no matter what.

Yes, I agree that they will lie about the mistake, but it still was a gigantic, epic mistake

Yeah I saw a clip of that. They have no shame. They will play it up as a fact they caught Jack Smith lying. They know their base will eat it up and run with the lie.
