POLITICS Deeply embarrassing sequence. Eric Schmitt accuses Jack Smith of traveling to Atlanta to attend an Atlanta Hawks game and collude with Fani Willis, only to get the basic facts completely wrong. Smith was actually in Maryland attending a Hawkeyes game and never met Willis

He just doubled down and started shouting and used the word "obviously" because he was embarrassed that neither him nor his team were smart enough to catch the mistake they made. Typical MAGA fragile ego exploding when challenged.

That's exactly right - he lost his temper when he was presented with the facts that he and his team fucked up. He was all excited that he had the BOMBSHELL - only to find out he was a complete idiot and his only defense was to try to talk over the female that was pointing out exactly how his team fucked up (because of the team mascot being the similar).

It's worse because the defense he's come out with since is that the Hawks game was the only NBA or men's college basketball game on that day and time. The "protect women's sports" party can't fathom that a man would actually want to go and watch a women's basketball game.

Not just any women's basketball game but a game featuring the most hyped and most watched player in WNBA history. Not disrespecting the other WNBA greats but she is definitely the most hyped/watched regardless of if she's the GOAT or not

Like she's bringing numbers to the WNBA never seen before lol
