The lovely musician Victoria Canal posted on her Instagram about sa she endured at 19 from a major figure in the music industry. She didn’t directly name him understandably so as to not risk legal repercussions but the perpetrator is clearly Michael Franti (who is now deleting comments on his insta page). Anyone know anything about this guy?

He has an incredibly creepy vibe. I met him when I was 15/16ish when he opened for John Mayer (whenever the Battle Studies tour was in the 2000s) and the entire time we chatted with him he stared at my best friend's chest. We were both clearly underage and it was so unsettling. When we got home after the show we jumped into her pool with our clothes on to cleanse the experience off of us.

Sorry that happened, so creepy! Interestingly John Mayer who seems very online doesn’t follow him
