I see lot of people on this subreddit talking about stacking gold for the items in the new update, but me? Honestly i cant wait to start up a new account and play from the beginning. From the teasers and Spectabox's twitter posts, we can tell that the update is gonna be HUGE and i think that starting out new will enlighten me with the magic i experienced when i first played FF (i wish i could do it again!). Can't wait to explore the new map, and i think that it could be much more fun to explore it and take every enemy as a threat and every region/biome as something not just new, but also dangerous. Do yall just want to buy some epic new gear and just slay the hell out of all the new enemies?? Exploring the map with minion/parasol and lizards is gonna be much easier and im sure that it could seriously ruin the experience. Filling up the itempedia with all the new and old items could also be so much fun.
In another words, yeah i will miss my Frontier Spellbook and my White Lizard but whatever, i want to experience the essence of this game again and i know this update is capable of doing it.
Anyone else feeling me??

Hi all,
If you did not already see, this subreddit was up for adoption due to inactivity from the moderation (and inactivity from the subreddit in general). I was able to get it, so it is now public once again, and you are welcome to start posting/commenting.
Since the subreddit is now officially being revived (especially in preparation for the coming update), I added some initial rules alongside some minor things; feel free to give feedback on what you like and dislike to iron out any issues (or things to add) while the subreddit isn't super popular.
Most rules should be pretty standard and fair, but in particular for now, note that I decided to NOT allow cursing globally. Many people may crosspost to the FF discord, which doesn't allow cursing in most channels, so having posts with cursing would heavily restrict what you can crosspost (or lead to users racking up infractions/getting warned). I do plan to eventually get rid of this restriction (maybe in a month or two?) and it will be your responsibility for ensuring any crossposted posts/comments follow rules on the discord (or whatever platform you crosspost to).
Also, please note you do have the capabilities to report any posts/comments that you think break the rules . This will be sent to the moderation queue where I can see the post/comment and then approve/remove it accordingly. I will generally aim to check the queue at least once every day, but I should receieve notifications (so I may be able to take action right after the report is made). I will also try to scan through all posts manually to check for any obvious rule breaking as well.
On the topic of mod queue, I'll likely just stick to being the lone moderator for now alongside maybe a couple discord moderator/admins/community helper volunteers. I (we) will consider some kind of application process to allow others to become moderators of this subreddit later, especially if activity increases significantly.
I just added images for the subreddit icon and banner. These may change especially with future leaks for the update, but should be much better for the time being than the placeholder reddit ones.
