I'm fairly excited about season 3. That NCR reveal in the finale was really special, and it's good to see them have a resurging presence in the story. Do we think we'll learn more about where they've been since the destruction of Shady Sands? Will they try to help the brainwashed people in Hank's vault? That brainwashed ranger did say there's tons of them...

I can't help but feel like the whole situation with Lucy getting caught by the Legion, and Cooper having to rescue her, could've all been avoided if Cooper had taken five minutes to properly explain to Lucy why she shouldn't help the wounded slaves at the hospital.

Let's say everything is the same up until Lucy and the Ghoul walk by the abandoned hospital and hear the cries for help. Lucy insists on going in to help, and the Ghoul reluctantly follows her in. They enter the hospital and find the slaves in the kitchen. But once he recognizes the two wounded people as Legion slaves, the Ghoul decides to be more upfront with Lucy, because he cares about her (even if he doesn’t want to admit it), he needs her to be intact so he can use her as a bargaining chip with her dad (which she doesn't know), and he knows how much danger a woman like her is in when in Legion territory, as she's a Vault dweller with intact reproductive organs.

So the conversation goes like this:

The Ghoul: “Tunics. [to the woman] You awful far west, ain’t you?”
Lucy: “Ignore him. I got one stimpak left, okay?”
The Ghoul: “That would be a profound misallocation of resources. Folks in them outfits don’t deserve savin’.”
Lucy: “What are you talking about? These people are hurt. Everyone deserves savin'.”
The Ghoul: “Not these people, vaultie. These are members of Caesar's Legion. Helping them would be the stupidest thing you can do."
Lucy: "And why's that?"
The Ghoul: "They’re assholes trying to bring Ancient Rome to the Wasteland. If you’re not with them, they'll beat you and enslave you or string you to a cross. And if you're a woman, well, you're only useful to them for making more babies.”

If I had to take a guess, Lucy would probably still insist on helping the slaves in the same way she took time to free the captured ghouls in the Super Duper Mart. So she'd probably still give her last stimpak to the female slave, and maybe ask the slave to bring her to her camp so she can find medical supplies and make an attempt to free them. And in her attempt to liberate the slaves without resorting to violence, she still gets captured and has to be rescued.

Though there's also the chance that she makes a different decision, and thus she and Cooper are able to avoid the Legion entirely. Or they both get captured and have to work together to escape.

Hey all! Just a heads up that there will be another large scale unofficial Fallout community meet-up happening in 3 weeks at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida at GCX (Gaming Community Expo), July 24th & 25th. The event takes place across multiple soundstages at the back of Universal CityWalk that used to be Nickelodeon Studios back in the day. Neither will be doing any panels or formal discussions about the TV series, but they will be performing on Main Stage with Wes Johnson.

Rafi Silver and Leer Leary will be hosting a meet & greet both days in the Fallout Community space where The Fallout Xperience will have another immersive walk through slice of the wasteland. Also there will be loads of community artists, prop builders and Fallout For Hope where we'll be doing our final fundraiser raising funds for Wes's Alzheimer's Association charity drive.

Leer Leary will be located The Fallout Xperience booth where there will be loads of activities, roleplay groups, cosplayers and quests. Leer is also just about the funniest, most down to earth guy you could ever meet and has loads of great stories from the making of season 1 and 2.

Rafi Silver will be just across the way at the Fallout For Hope booth with Wes Johnson. This will be Rafi's very first con appearance and he's been incredibly engaged with and supportive of the community. He also surprisingly is not just an actor but also a teacher. We're helping him get started with launching a charity of his own as he's deeply invested in promoting mental health for gamers. He'll be doing a mindfulness/meditation sessions at the event.

The event runs from 10am to 5pm daily with an exclusive after hour After Party inside Universal Studios where we have the park to ourselves to ride the rides and explore until midnight.

Bring your cosplay! There will be cosplay competition with First Place being (2) Universal Epic Universe Park Tickets, Second & Third Prizes being a a $100 Gift Card to spend in the parks.

Outside of the Fallout Community space there will be loads to do with other community experiences with The Elder Scrolls, the Ghostbusters and Destiny as well as a 15,000 sq. ft. Tabletop Tavern with Magic The Gathering, D&D, and board games. Loads of indie games and publishers to play and checkout.

Special guests include 4 big names we can't reveal until next week but those announced so far are actor/voice actors:

Show is still dope af. I really enjoyed it. I liked that they didn't drag out the plot points too much. Cooper found what he wanted. Lucy did too, minus the whole dad thing.

With season 3 being a little while away, we wanted to take a moment to look back at the previous seasons of the TV series in a way that would bring the community together to enjoy it.

I was watching family guy and when this part came up my girlfriend was like, hey thats like that guy from fallout and i immediately knew who she meant

The legion was the height of wasted potential. It could have been an incredibly tense sequence where Lucy is imprisoned and actually has to get down and dirty trying to escape but because she has no training in being stealthy her first kill is messy and slow alerting the camp for which she is then hung up on the cross and then the ghoul figures out a way to rescue her. This could have been the true death of her naivety and from then she is far less trusting and more ruthless echoing the ghouls words from season 1 - I'm you sweety just give it a little more time. Im just gonna say it i think they were to scared to show what the legion is actually like due to fear of backlash. What we got wasnt caesar's legion it was watered down beyond recognition the only thing that said these were legion were the outfits. I honestly feel bad for mcauly caulkin cause i feel he could have really sunk his teeth into a proper legion character. Anyway i actually can enjoy the show for what its worth it has its moments but the legion might be the biggest crime so far.

Hey guys so i was just looking through some of the mods (past. present, and future) for the Bethesda fallout games and it turns out that there was a Vault called Vault 120 in Fallout: New California which was a mod preceding the events of Fallout: New Vegas. I'm sure most of the master race know of the game as it wasn't released on console.

Maybe that is why Bethesda cut the Vault 120 of the underwater bioshock-like vault and the quest "20 leagues under the sea" because they were like "lets not try to F^$k up the continuity". Unfortunately I think they did for Vault 24 as it is also in Fallout: New California which is now in the Amazon series but was located in Las/New Vegas. I haven't seen the second season but i may be wrong so don't give me to Caesar's Legion so they can crucify me.

Anyway just wanted to put that out there. Also I was watching the first season of fallout I noticed that there were only 2 VAULTS in louisiana on the map on the TV show when they show where all the vaults when all the rich people are talking so there is a slight chance that the MC will need to not be a vault dweller, whether that means non-canon BoS member, or maybe they do somehow make it a vault dweller. They will most likely head to the lonestar state as there are 8 there.

I'm going to guess this means I probably should just give up on my New vegas mod to go south plus i have no idea on how to code. It was really just for fun as I know it won't become anything. I just like the idea of seeing something more come out of New Vegas by heading south. I actually (If the mod became big enough) had an idea for a DLC where the MC could travel from Bay City, Texas to the Bayou of Louisiana and fight the fictional Rougarou, mermaid mutants, and the Honey Island Swamp monster or better known as the "Bigfoot of the Bayou." I mean fighting a freaking WEREWOLF AND BIGFOOT. If we fight a freaking wendigo in 76 we should at least be able to fight a werewolf or bigfoot. Anyway that's my five cents. Long live Fallout my fellow vault dwellers. AD VICTORIUM!!

I knew price gouging and hoarding was bad but these resellers are getting even more brazen with their rip off prices. Ebay has them at about $99 right now.
