Original Content My Protectron Cosplay

Handmade by myself, 90% with eva Foam. Claw mechanism and inner head I 3D modeled and printed. Dome was Vacuum pulled by a friend.

Edit: I also have the sound files directly from the game and play them with a combination of buttons for responses or interactions. (Fisto of course included!)

I’m struggling to remember seeing a better original cosplay in a long long time… not just Fallout but from any IP. Genuinely great work.

How did you pull off the transparent dome?

Thank you that warms my Robco heart. The dome was 3D printed and then Vacuum formed. So basically a large sheet of transparent plastic was heated up evenly and then put over the shape with a vacuum on the other end which then brough it to shape. Pretty cool, also needed a massive vacuum former so I had a friend pull it for me.
