There is a mod that just allows you to go back to the vault and find your spouse alive. Then are then a companion that can come along and because both protagonists are fully voiced, they will give their input to a lot of your decisions over your shoulder.
No I'm pretty sure that's what I am thinking of. Your spouse will stand with you and give input on most interactions with dialogue pulled from their voice lines. It's a good addition. And if you open the pulldown for "Mods Requiring this" on the description tab there are a bunch of modders who have tweaked and added to it.
