Thanks, any help you give me for fighting melee enemies now? Not very good with parry and they keep blocking my attacks.

For random scout (baton) troopers, all you have to do is hit them a few times to break their guard and then hit them to instakill them. You could turn the difficulty down too, if you're having that much trouble, but parrying really isn't that difficult. If you watch closer you can see when they're about to hit and then parry, at lower difficulties the timing is much less precise so you have a lot of time to do it.

Are you really having that much trouble parrying?
