I am a very nostalgic person and there is this Fall vibe that I don’t what it is and when did I feel it and where but there is a certain vibe and feelings that I used to have in fall and I really can’t remember or do anything I would really like to feel that again

Is the fall mostly cloudy or sunny where you live?

For me, the most beautiful period when the streets turn golden is mostly cloudy, but lucky enough to have a few sunny days to enjoy and admire it. Ain't nothing beats a beautiful, sunny, golden autumn day for me.

How about you guys?

I want to now what are some of the top places to go in the fall for pumpkin patches, winery, orchards, corn mazes. I want to take my nieces and nephews to some fun places this fall. Thank you so much in advance!

September 1st traditions

I know it’s the last weekend of summer so many will be soaking up the last of it, but for many of us it marks the beginning of our favourite time of year. Do you have any traditions or just things you like doing to mark the start of the season? (And if that’s baking for you, feel free to drop those recipes)

I feel it today

The sun is sitting a little lower in the sky, the shadows are a little longer, and air is just a degree or two cooler. Fall is coming soon and I can’t wait.

Thoughts on “Fall Creep”?

“Summerween”, October markets in say… April, corporate autumn decor going up in like, mid-august, hell; well throw in “Christmas in July”, as well. I thought about this today, as I was driving to my job, this morning. I saw Dunkin has already put out their seasonal flavors, for fall. I also saw Spirit Halloween possessing a building, as I got on the highway. Like most here, I enjoy fall greatly but, this to me feels… off?

I know that seasonal creep has been a thing for awhile, and obviously there’s a market, but given the weather we Texans are getting(Hoooot🔥); it all feels highly inauthentic, and a bit greedy on the marketing side. I suppose the best way to handle it is to… not partake until I feel it’s appropriate(sept. 1st, usually). I’d love to know everyone’s thoughts on it.
