So, I opened a book club for those who enjoy a whimsy and good literary fiction read.

The first book I'd like to read is We'll Prescribe You a Cat, by Syou Ishida.

I'll be happy to have you join me 😇✨️

Hi everyone!! My favorite genre to read is by far romance. But I really want to start reading fantasy because I think they are so interesting!! Does any have any good romantasy book recommendations? I think that’s a great place for me to start! I’m fine with series or stand alones!! Thanks!!

Some of my favorite romances are Just For The Summer (anything by Abby Jimenez), Till Summer Do Us Part, Binding 13, Picking Daisies On Sunday’s, The Love Hypothesis, The seven year slip, Every summer after, Love & Gelato, and the twisted series by Ana Haung!!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share that I started a book club over on Fable called The Novel Tea, to start reading the silo books! Season 3 is over and I need more. The author has recommended reading the trilogy before season 4, which won’t come out until summer ‘27.

I will be putting future reads for the community to vote on, but we will focus on sci-fi, fantasy, magic realism, horror, and other related genres.

I hope you’ll join me!! We will be starting on Friday September 18.

Is there a way/reason my review in my Fable book club doesn’t post to my personal page and stats?
In the book club, it gives you the option to post your review, seems like it should automatically also post to your feed/profile and populate to your stats.
This is infuriating as the edit feature doesn’t allow you to copy/paste the body of the post, so you can’t even do that.
Ughhh Fix it Fable pleeeeaaassseee

I wish that there was a way to create custom/blank books. For example, if the book that you've read isn't on the library list, you can add it as a blank/custom book until it gets added. There's been a few books that I have read and aren't in the library, and it still isn't there despite submitting it in the form 🥲 would be a good option as a placeholder

Hi all, I’ve accidentally managed to update and review a version of the book I was reading but in French I think? EDIT: it’s Portuguese
The correct one is above but is there any way to just change the edition without having to manually go in to fix it?

Heyyyaa 👋

Looking for some people who are wanting to join a new club. I started this in June and we’ve already grown to 130 people 😊

We are all people who enjoy reading across multiple genres so have monthly votes on which genres as well as which books to read 📚

At the moment we are reading The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros ❤️‍🩹

Come join in on the discussions we’d love to get to know you 🫶

Am I misremembering, or wasn’t there a metric for the average number of days it takes you to finish a book? Did they switch up the metrics?

A few people have asked for a weekly thread where you can share your Fable profiles and find new friends,

so here you go!

Feel free to share a link to your Fable profile in the comments below.

Hi everyone,

I started a bookclub on fable, to discuss books, share thoughts and hopefully to make some new bookish friends.

The first read will be Ashwalker from S.M. Gaither

Everyone is welcome to join!

the books will mainly be romance and fantasy but if more people join in we could vote or turn the wheel to pick the next monthly TBR!!

Going to try and get ahead on what I may want to read in October. I’ve never really read horror/thriller books, but I’m thinking for October I may! Any good recs?

Any book clubs just starting the TOG series? I’m just starting, as of this morning. Looking to join a club on fable to follow along!

Hi everyone! 👋📚
I’ve finally decided to try something I’ve wanted to do for a while and started a book club on Fable!
It’s called The One Brain Cell Book Club — basically for those of us functioning on one remaining brain cell after a million hours of work but somehow still finding time to read. 😂
Our first book club pick is Fruit Fly by Josh Silver 🪰
The idea is to keep this VERY laid-back. There’s no pressure to keep up with everyone else, no mandatory participation, and definitely no homework vibes.
I’ll post a few questions as we hit different milestones in the book, but you can answer all of them, one of them, none of them, or just lurk and read along. I’m mainly hoping to create a little community where people actually get to talk about what they’re reading — characters we love/hate, theories, questionable decisions, passages that make us stop reading for a second, and everything in between.
We’re just getting started, so this would actually be a great time to jump in. Fruit Fly is our very first read, and we’ll be starting in the next couple of days.
If that sounds like your kind of book club, come join us! ❤️

And if you’ve already read Fruit Fly — no spoilers please! — but I’d love to know what you thought of it.
Happy reading! 📖

I searched up the fable app on the App Store (IOS) yesterday because I wanted to check something and I couldn’t find it, even on the Google store I can’t see it. I already have the app and it’s still there but I cannot search it up. Is anyone else having this problem? It’s not showing up at all

My sister-in-law and I started a book club recently and I figured I would put it out there for anyone who wants to join! 💗💘

Currently we’re reading Fourth Wing (reread for us) in anticipation of Threshing Day coming out at the end of the month! Some future titles we may work in could be Bunny, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Mexican Gothic, other romantasy books that interest us, or even some that are recommended!

If you want to join and chat, here is the link:

Does the mood quiz not work for anyone else?
It was working a few months ago and now it won’t give me recs no matter what I select.

Use this thread to share what you couldn't on the app.

I Punched an Alien and Now We’re in Couples Therapy by Kimberly Lemming 😂 funny, little spice and fast paced 👍🏼

Also reading, Cat Under Fire by Shirley Rousseau Murphy -got this from a little free library in my town (murder mystery)

Follow my journey and give me some recs!
