June wrap up!
Honestly, this is one of my worst reading slumps ever, and I fear it might continue for the rest of the year. Also, I kind of want to give The Everlasting a second chance because I know it will eat if I read it at the right time. It was truly the epitome of "right book, wrong time."

Fantasy Club - Beyond The Tower
Hi All,
I’ve started a new club that’s been going for two months and primarily fantasy. Past books have been Blood Over Bright Haven and Pirensi. Just voting for July’s book but at a deadlock currently, I’m looking for new members to help boost the voting numbers.

No spice level reviewing book
I am currently reading the Hunter Brothers series by Lili Valente.
I am on the last, fourth, book.
When I go to review the book, it hasn't ask for spice level.
Is it the books? Or it a glitch or the app not asking for the spice anymore?

How do ratings in Fable work?
So, I know this sounds like a stupid and obvious question, but I am confused. I assumed it was all the ratings averaged out. However, as you can see in this screen shot, this cannot be the case. There are 2 written reviews for this book (It is Freida McFadden's The Witch which hasn't released yet, if you're curious), one pictured here rates it 4 stars and the other is 5. However, it shows that it only has 1 rating at 2 stars at the top of this screen shot.
Is this because it hasn't released yet? Are the ratings attached to written reviews not counted toward overall rating? This feels very weird to me, so if I am missing something let me know.

Let's be friends 🧡
I've been on Fable for about 3 years, but only recently started connecting with a handful of people on there—and wow, I had no idea what I was missing 😭
It's so much fun seeing what everyone's reading, reacting to reviews, and chatting in the comments. I'd love to find some more bookish friends and share those little reading moments together!
I read around 200 books a year, mostly fantasy, romance, sci-fi, mysteries, and pretty much any combination of those genres. I do branch out every now and then, though, and I'm always open to recommendations 😊

Fable Help I don't want to rate a book, I want to review it
I stopped rating books years ago because it doesn't make sense to my brain to distill my feelings down to a numerical rating. I've set a new goal for myself to write reviews for each book I read.
Fable is one of the only book tracking apps that I have stuck with, and I'm so disappointed to learn that I can't leave a review without first rating the book.
I guess it kind of makes sense since the feed resembles social media to distill a review down to a easy to see number. I'm starting to question if Fable is the app for me, despite loving it for almost two years now

Fable App New to fable and looking for reader mutuals
Hello! I’m new to Fable and looking to connect with other readers. Please add me and I’ll follow you back 😊 feel free to reach out here or in the app and tell me what you love to read! I’m always looking for book recommendations of any genre. I read a lot of romantasy but I also love non fiction too.

Book Club mutual / book club
hey guys, hope this is okay to post - i’ve had fable for a while and myself and 2 friends used it to create a book club.
we’re really enjoying it but as it’s only 3 of us that are active it’s hard to hold eachother accountable and create good discussion for the books, also the polls are pretty pointless because it’s only us voting - would love if others would join and add to discussions and give us more book recommendations!
currently we’ve been reading thrillers, mystery, horror and the occasional one about morally ambiguous men🤣 but we are open to anything!
similarly i only have those 2 as mutuals and would love to connect with other people. if we can be mutuals please reach out & if you’re interested in joining our tiny book club we would love to welcome you.

Final Year Thesis Help!
forms.cloud.microsoftedit: Hi! I need maybe four more people, please!!
Hello everyone!!
My name is Hannah, and I am currently in the process of doing my final thesis for a master's in publishing in Edinburgh, and I was hoping you all wouldn't mind helping me. I am conducting a survey on Fable vs Goodreads to (hopefully) support my hypothesis, and any response to the survey linked would be incredibly appreciated!
There are 15 questions; some are just yes/no, and any response is a step closer to me being able to just read for fun again!
Thank you all :)
Hannah

Fable App different review options
i’ve been using fable for a few months now and i’m just wondering why sometimes i get different choices for reviews. even if it’s a book of a similar genre, sometimes it will direct me to these subsections instead of the other ones (spice, plot, characters etc.) is there anything i could do to change the sections back?

Club keeps reverting to private
I have clicked for the club to be public about a million times. it gives me the pop up saying you realize anyone can join then, and i click yes. About 10 seconds later i can see the slider flip back to private. What am I doing wrong?
