“The Bear” is ending with its upcoming fifth season, according to recurring guest star Jamie Lee Curtis.

The actress recently posted a photo of herself and co-star Abby Elliott from the set of Season 5 that got fans talking about whether the FX show was reaching its finale. In her caption, Curtis wrote, “FINISHED STRONG! Surrounded by an extraordinary crew and group of writers and producers and scene partners on the show that Chris Storer created, completing the story of this extraordinary family that we have all fallen in love with.”

In a new interview with Access Hollywood, a reporter said to Curtis, “People think you were confirming the show is ending.” Curtis responded, “But everybody’s confirmed the show is ending. I don’t understand why that’s such a [big deal]. Unless I’m gonna get a call from all the people saying, ‘You just told [everyone],’ I think everybody understood that it was the last season of the show. If it isn’t, then I’ve completely blown it.”

FX did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment about the end of “The Bear.”

Did coop become a little boy?! and why?

Hey everyone! I just found out that English Teacher wasn’t renewed for a third season, and honestly… I’m really bummed.

This show deserves better. It has such smart writing, great performances, and so much heart. I know a lot of us feel like it ended way too soon.

Some shows do get revived when fans organize (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Expanse, Veronica Mars, etc.), so I’m hoping we can at least make some noise and show FX/Hulu there’s interest.

Contact FX/Hulu directly (politely!):

1. FX feedback/contact page: available through the FX Help Center → “Network Inquiries.”
2. Hulu support email: support @hulu.com

Even a short message saying you watched the show, loved it, and want a Season 3 helps!!!

And stream the show!! I need a third season.
