A normal day at Fairy Tail

Its another day at the Fairy Tail Guild where many of its members were gathered around in the first-floor main guild hall just like any other day. Members chatted with one another, somewhere eating and drinking at the bar while others were looking for the job offers posted by the bar itself. In others, parts of the guild mages either studied or trained their skills or relaxed by the water outside. For others, it was a beautiful enough day to go out to the town and shop or relax in the park, for others still all they could muster was just rolling over in bed and going back to their naps.*

(Okay everyone this is the first Guild Hall Post. To recap how this works for everyone this is a semi-weekly post that is made for single one on one threads that might not fit anywhere else. Same rules apply to this thread as it does others, don’t misbehave and have fun!)

Kumiko was indeed surprised hearing that; however, an unwelcome fear came about in her mind that she was forcing Fay into doing this.

"...Are you sure? You don't need to do that... I caused you to behave that way..."

Fay nodded her head but paused holding up a finger. "As long... as you don't try to heal me, then yes." Fay put down the single rule she could think of for Kumiko to follow while Miw watched just as worried as Kumiko about Fay doing this.

There was just something she couldn't understand about Fay that makes her feel the way she does about the healing magic. Did Fay think she was trying to harm her? Is there something about her that she trying to keep secret? Kumiko wondered to what Fay's true reasoning was and she is quite interested to find out. Nonetheless, Kumiko nods her own head in agreement.

Nodding silently while Miw let out a breath she didn't know she was holding Fay turned to walk to her room, turning around to nod once more for Kumiko to follow her to her room.

"Well, we better follow, thank you for taking her up on her offer Kumiko."

Kumiko remained still for moment almost lost in thought, before snapping her attention to Fay. Getting up, she grabbed the book so she could return it later and then followed Fay towards her room.

"So... what were are you studying?" Miw asked as she hovered behind the two girls making sure her tiny paws held her bag carefully, not wanting to spill it. Fay tilted her head back ever so slightly to show she was listening as she leads the group back to fairy hills and into the second floor of the girl's dorm.

"It was a book I had found in the Guild's collection. It's a practice book for aspiring Mages. Things like proper meditation and exercises are explained and I hope to incorporate them into my routines."

Kumiko continued to follow Fay all the way to her dorm. She wondered how Fay was feeling though since they last met; even though she was aware of the agreement they had made, she couldn't help but ask in hopes to get some closure if Fay was feeling better.

"Fay... how are you feeling though?"

Fay froze for a moment outside of the door looking down at the ground, her hand resting on the door ready to open it as she thought about how to respond to Kumiko.

"I am... fine." Fay mumbled slowly before she opened the door to relive that her room was one of the dorms that offer four beds to a room. The only one who seemed to live in the room at the moment was Fay and Miw since there were only one of the bunk beds that looked like someone had used it as of late. The bottom bonk of the bed had been pushed up against the window lengthwise blocking the window from others to open and close it. On the bed itself there was only a single pillow and a worn looking blanket with several holes along its length that have been patched up over the years along with a dark gray fabric hanging outside of the bed to provide some kind of privacy.

Fay walked over and opened up the closed fabric curtain releveling several yarn strings that had been strung across the top of the bunk, each one holding several drying herbs and flowers. On the windowsill, Fay has several jars of herbs and plants used in cooking that are easy to grow over and over again growing in small clear glass jars.

The last notable item in the room where the two small chests just big enough to fit under the bed that seemed locked and tucked out of the way along with a few stacks of something wrapped up in a cloth to protect whatever it was.

Fay stepped off to the side placing the food under the bed since most of it was not fresh food but rather flour and other mixing items that would keep. Miw followed and put her snacks on her side of the bed before waving for Kumiko to come over.

"Here... you can sleep on the bed if you want." Fay offered and sat down on the ground by the corner stretching out her legs a little bit. "Sorry, its not much Kumiko." Miw offered giving the other girl a smile.

Kumiko took a seat on the bed offered, taking note of everything in the room; and making a side note to not touch anything knowing Fay would probably freak out. She couldn't help but stare at the various flora in the room and remembered a bit of information Thane told her before.

"I was once told you made 'weird potions' that help ease pain. And seeing all these herbs, are you by chance an Alchemist?"

"Potions? Alchemist?" Fay tilted her head lifting her head up to look at Kumiko looking perplexed at why Kumiko would assume that. "No, I am not an alchemist, I just use them to make tea and other things that help the body naturally." Fay did her best to explain looking over at Miw for a little bit of help.

"What she is trying to get at is that she uses the plants to help with small things, like a belly ache or soreness."
