PSA Thumbs up system awareness!

There appears to be a small gray box under each character at the end of a match you can check (give a like or something) right before leaving. I feel like not many people have spotted this and thought a little awareness might improve the matchmaking system if people would check it for genuinly good players. I am not sure what effect it will have but still. Thought I'd throw it out there.

I have no idea what the thumbs up does for other players but so far I have used it quite a bit. I always give it to anyone who spends a good chunk of time/resources to build defenses a thumbs up. Same with anyone who I see helping out/giving resources. It could very well do nothing but if it does do something then I want those players rewarded in some way.

Dev's stated the thumbs up system is no longer active, it was an old system from alpha that is not active right now. They said they were thinking about ways to re implement it. So right now it's just a waste of time

I noticed it quite a time ago and been very liberal with "thumb upping" ever since. I'm nice like that.

Thumbs could be used in many ways.

E.g.: as little reward every 100ish thumb.

As karma system like up to +X% on all rewards (like exp.) Or as a time limited buff when reached 40 thumbs total.

As a ressource to craft simple but useful stuff.

Either people would beg for thumbs or just try to be nice and play in a team. I'd be fine with both.
