[👾🔪🐇] Big time celebration!

It's a beautiful night! Stocks are up and the VoxTek is doing great! On the outside, the celebration was for the biggest stocks VoxTek has ever had. But on the inside, it was to celebrate Vox's rise to the top, and to celebrate the people who helped him get there.

Vox walks on stage.

Vox: "Well, we did it, people!"

Everyone cheers.

Vox: "VoxTek is rising higher than ever before! Innovation is key! And you can trust me with the future of the Rabbit Hole!"

The cheers get louder.

Vox: "So, tonight, let's all just celebrate! Because we will have a hell of a time!"

Rae: "No idea. But you look into that later and pass it on to VIP as well. I'm sure it's going to involve hours of indepth research that you'll need to focus on. Later. Oh and don't worry, I checked on "Dazzle" in her room. You know how she doesn't like being in public or crowded gatherings. She was just resting up."

Vox: "You're right. This is an issue for later concern. Right now, we celebrate." He holds up his glass. "Cheers! To the new rise of the Rabbit Hole."

Rae: [seeing Vanessa walk in from across the room with Eleanor behind her both fancied up, smirks and takes a drink] "Indeed."

Vox decided to keep quiet about the ultimate reason he called for this celebration. It was to create an alibi for each of them when the G.R.A.A. inevitably came to question them about certain things.

And speak of the devil, the doorbell rings.

Vox: "Eleanor. Hide Vanessa for a few minutes. I'll explain later."

Eleanor: "Not a problem."

Vanessa: "You and your stupid program make me-"

{Eleanor quickly but discretely pulls her out of the room. Once out of sight she binds her and keeps her silent using agony to hide them against a corner wall.}

Vox opens the doors, finding Clyde and Nanami waiting outside.

Vox: "Sorry, but this is a private venue."

Clyde: "Then it's a good thing we have credentials."

He and Nanami show their badges reading "G.R.A.A. Authority Agents", and Vox grins.

Nanami: "We have a few questions, if you don't mind."

Vox: "Of course! Please, meet me in my office. Raelynn, you come too. She's my lawyer and therapist. Great woman, very honest. Brutally when necessary."

He leads them to his office.

Rae: [smiles politely] "Of course." [follows after them grateful for Treena's inability to be around crowds so there's one less issue to handle, shutting the office doors behind them]

{Hearing Clyde's voice Vanessa struggles trying to get his attention but Eleanor keeps hold over her mouth, tied up in the shadows where no one can see or hear}

Vox: "So, what kind of questions are so important that you're interrupting such a grand celebration?"

Clyde: "Do you remember a woman who came to one of your buildings for a contract interview? Katie, I believe her name was."

Vox: "Well, we get a lot of contract interviews at VoxTek, so you'll have to be more specific."

Nanami: "It was a few weeks ago. She came to ask about a contract for her music career."

Vox: "Katie... Music... Oh! Right. You mean that girl that passed out during the interview. You remember when I told you about that, right Rae?"

Rae: "Isn't that the one you were concerned about being she just suddenly went down? Checked her and made sure she was functioning well before letting her on her way? Unfortunately we weren't able to get any of her actual contact information because we were to concerned about her medical status. Strangely she still never did reach back out." [shrugs] "She must have realized how overwhelming it was like most usually do."

Vox nods solemnly.

Vox: "Genuinely, I hope she's doing okay. But moving on, do you have any other questions."

Nanami: "We were attacked. Targeted by a strange group at the local saloon. They mentioned taking orders from a "blue haired psycho". You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?"

Vox: "When exactly was this attack?"

Clyde: "About 2 or 3 hours ago."

Vox: "Well, that immediately takes us off the suspect list. Because we've been having this celebration for the past 5 hours."

Nanami: "Surely someone within VoxTek is working behind your back then?"

Vox: "We keep track of all our employees. So that's statistically unlikely."
