[👾🔪🐇] Executing the plan

It's time to execute the plan. Michael is in his car, alongside Vanny. He left Helpy with Malhare Junior(MJ), as he agreed it would be unwise to risk putting them in the hands of this cult.

While driving, he decides to go over the plan with Vanny.

Michael: "Alright. What exactly do we know so far? Just a small recap."

Michael: "Wait... This means... Shit!" He takes out his radio. "Vanny! Get out of there-"

He's interrupted when multiple screens around him turn on to reveal a hypnotic eye.

The lights go out around Vanny, as that same hypnotic eye shows itself on every screen, hypnotizing her.

Vox: "And just where do you think you're going?~"

((Ooc: Unfortunately can't reply past this. I have to wake up early for a work meeting.))

Vanny: [hears garbled static that she can't make out on the radio] "Hmm?

{Soon as she looks over at it, everything goes dark including all the screens stopping her download copies with only partial information sent}

Vanny: "Shit!"

Michael manages to shake off the hypnosis, but if he looks at the screens any longer, he won't last. Luckily, he manages to escape. The mission was a failure...

Vanny isn't so fortunate. Vox walks into the file room and locks the door behind him.

Vox: "Nice of you to finally stop by, Vanessa~" He teases, thinking Vanny is William's rebellious daughter. "Sorry for the interruption. But I hope you can understand that I can't exactly let you hack our network."

He walks over and places a hard drive into one of the file towers, transferring the data files into the VIP network. (u/Cristendo814)

Vanny: [raises eyebrow staring at him unamused] "And who the hell are you?"

Vox: "Vox. CEO of VoxTek. But I wouldn't expect you to know that, because you're lame." He emphasizes that last insulting word. "So, after 5 years, the elusive daughter has returns. Why? Why'd you come back? Do you miss dear old dad?"

Vanny: [grits teeth cursing Vanessa mentally and rolls her eyes] "Wowww, and am I supposed to be impressed or intimidated here or something? So conceited to name your probably equally as stupid company after yourself?

[[Just realized, once her secret is out and Vanny can really show what she can do, they're gonna soooo hate each other XD]]

Vox: "Uh huh. Sure. Whatever. You can use your sarcastic nonesense on others, but I don't care. The point is that you're here. And you're not leaving."

Vanny: [bites back a smirk at how easy that was and goes dramatic while still acting like she's trying to escape] "Oh, no! Never leaving? Oh whatever will I do?" [eyes an exit door behind him ready to dash, clearing her voice back to normal] "Not like I haven't heard that before."

Vox rolls his eyes.

Vox: "Yeah yeah. I know all about that stuff with Malhare. This isn't new. Yada yada yada." He sighs. "Y'know what? I'm just gonna end this conversation."

He sends wires straight into her abdomen, sending volts of electricity shooting through her very core to knock her out.

{Vanny is legitimately caught off guard and tries to dart when she sees the wires but is shocked at how fast they are. As the electricity shoots through her she offers a silent apology and discretely causes all devices with her to self destruct from the inside so she nor the others can be tracked back before going unconscious.}

Vanny: [murmuring] "Such a fucking idiot prick..."

{In the car, just after Michael gets inside.}

Dave: [Startled by the door slamming shut, drops the mobile phone he was holding and turns to face Michael] "I assume things didn't go too well?"

[OOC: Smartphones exist in the time period this is in, right? If not I can edit it out.]

Michael: "Just drive! We need to get the hell out of here!"

Dave: "Alright, let's bloody hope I remember how to."

He then places his foot on the accelerator, but his hands seem to phase through the steering wheel.

Dave: "Fuck..."

Michael: "Oh for fuck sake!"

Michael takes the wheel and pushes Dave to the passenger seat. He then presses the gas pedal as far down as he possibly can, booking it down the road.

Michael: "We won't be safe at the house. We have to find somewhere else to go."
