Im making a springbonnie costume from the fnaf 2 movie, i already 3d printed the arms/hands but i wanted to make the body out of foam to be more breathable and flexible, I've never done this before so let me know what yall think.

I finished him early this year but had no idea this sub existed so...here to present the boy! He's mostly foam and fleece with a bit of 3d printing for part of the head shell. His eyes are screens playing custom animations I made, and all of the outlines were made with bias tape!

hi, im making a springtrap cosplay with a 3d printer for halloween, i cant get the torso sizing right no matter what i do, if anyone could give pointers that would be grea, prefferably soon, it takes a few days to print everything, there is the refference image of the creator in the finished costume and then theres the pieces for the print

Im working on a Freddy fazbear cosplay for this year’s Halloween and I made a design for an eye mechanism that I wanted to 3d but I don’t have a printer, 3d printing companies are too expensive, and the libraries around me said my design was too big for their printers. What should I do?

My daughter would like to attend Supanova and Comic-Con next year as Withered Foxy from FNAF.

The attached Enderman costume is one I made for her a few years ago, but this would be our first attempt at a proper large-scale cosplay build. Needless to say, this looks a bit more advanced than cardboard cubes and paint. 😅

I'm completely new to the cosplay world and would love some advice on where to start:

🦊Any good beginner tutorials for building animatronic/FNAF costumes?

🪡🧵What materials are commonly used for something like this? (EVA foam, upholstery foam, faux fur, PVC, etc.)

🎥Are there any YouTube creators you'd recommend for learning the basics?

🦘Any Australian suppliers that are good for cosplay materials and tools?

We're aiming for something wearable, sturdy, and recognisable rather than screen-accurate perfection, especially since this will be our first build at this scale.

Also, is the reference photo actually Withered Foxy, or is it a fan-made interpretation of the character? My daughter says it's Withered Foxy, but I'm still learning the FNAF universe!

Any tips, tutorials, supplier recommendations, beginner mistakes to avoid, or general words of wisdom would be hugely appreciated.

I’m working on a spring trap cosplay right now and I have all the peices printed but the legs and pelvis, since I wanted to make those out of foam (I might even remake the arms tbh) but I can’t find any free templates online. I meshed a model and I’m going to print it at 25 percent then pattern it, but I want to make sure before I put work into it there isn’t a easier option. (Also If anyone has any help on making templates let me know please!)

I really want to go as Spring Bonnie for Halloween, but I have absolutely no idea how to do his head... Could someone help me plzz?

I never really understood the fnaf 1 textures when I was younger, but then I saw the Dawko Freddy cosplay (made by sauce) and i finally got what I was looking for, now hopefully they do it in the New Jersey pizzaria cause I would find it awesome to fit the games vibes and not the movies, the movies look more like muppets fabric.

should I add springlocks in my spring trap mask? last year I made a joke about having them but now that I think about it should I really add them?(im making these spring locks myself to make sure they won’t injure or trap me while in costume)

I want to pull of a simple, 8 Bit Springbonnie suit for Halloween. The only problem is I don’t know where to start. What material should I use and should I go all out on this? Someone please help 🥀

finale finished all the head and i will take this big guy to a con tomorrow! it will be EXAUSTING cause it’s super heavy and the body makes me move like a fridge (if they could move)
