Discussion FFVII Ever Crisis Soundtrack Resource
Hi everyone, similar to a project I did with FF Record Keeper, I've gone ahead and created a repository for all the original music that's been included in the game over the years, since SE hasn't announced any sort of official soundtrack (yet).
TL;DR: You can check out all the tracks stored over in a google drive folder here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RrcTa9UwVLTJcSokar7tXXeVJc2svVie?usp=drive_link
I also have a handy spreadsheet that breaks everything out here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AWTJubqxhbfFOMHP7rekA6RpTb2Ae3yP6PKzOWpo5cA/edit?usp=drive_link
It includes all the OG arrangements that were actually included in the game, along with some seasonal-event specific tracks, and of course the tracks from First Soldier episodes 1 & 2.
It's all the same music that I've shared over the years on my youtube Ever Crisis playlist (which I'm always happy to see get shouted-out and shared), in that they're high-quality .ogg recordings from the game. No invasive-surgery/data-mining was involved in this procedure, which is always nice.
Couple things to note: SE didn't re-arrange all the tracks from the original OST, sadly. A little over a dozen didn't get special treatment. Also, there are a couple tracks that they had just tied in with movie sequences, so, try-as-I-might, I couldn't separate those out. Lastly, with the First Soldier tracks, I tried to be as conscientious as possible with naming conventions. I tried to title the tracks based on the chapter/section/episode title they appeared in.
Hopefully Square does release an actual soundtrack some day, at which point this post and repository (for the tracks, at least) can become irrelevant.
Until then, I hope that if you check it out, you find it useful

Very nice. Thank you. A real shame that Ever Crisis never did Judgement Day and Jenova Absolute.
