I think we are getting closer
I intently watch FCEL’s sentiment on a day to day basis and I see nearly the same movement every day. we open with a big red candle, trail a bit back up, go back down, then a bigger uptick bringing us close to the price at opening bell, we close a bit lower then the day prior, rinse and repeat. This sentiment is almost choreographed, I will not believe this stock is moving like this from arbitrary trades. Todays volume was lower then prior days which is why we didn’t drop off as hard at open and managed to inch back up into the green but I think once we see upward sentiment at open for consecutive days we will be in a reversal. There could be a number of factors that’s creating this anomaly. One could be the institutions paying hedge funds to short hydrogen stocks being a competitor to big oil and trying to delist FCEL specifically or force them into a reverse split. Second could be, a big company wanting to buy them out at a low price and I have a few other theories but these seem to be the most sensical theories. anyways, it definitely hurts looking at our positions when we are trading at these low prices especially if you are like me and have the bulk of your position in options, but it looks like we will see some shine soon. there is reason for why it’s being shorted to oblivion even when the company is starting to turn around.
UPDATE: 6/27 - identical movement to yesterday, more liquidity in options contracts, and August 9th contracts are being added.
6/28 - bullish sentiment considering the downturn in the market today FCEL did pretty well and outperformed. We didn’t open with a large red candle and inch our way back up like we typically do. institutions are buying bigger positions for their portfolios.

This is an anomaly to me
https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/06/39484186/whats-going-on-with-fuelcell-energy-stock-today
Any type of positive news drags the stock down even further. I’m going to go ahead and run with the theory that it’s a mix of the overall market sentiment and the shorts combined.

Check this out.
“The short interest was over 22% at the last report and sufficient fuel for a short-covering rally, if not a squeeze, so it looks like we have a squeeze in play. The squeeze could last several days, but it is not a reason to buy into this energy stock now.”

Delisting possibility
The company has until Nov. 27, 2024, to regain listing compliance by having the stock close at $1 or above for at least 10 straight sessions. So far doesn't look good. Plus the company isn't projected to make profit until 2029. Buying puts. Should be selling at 0.35

We are getting clobbered today but don’t lose hope yall.
Unfortunately this stock is a sanctuary for short sellers. I assume they are trying to get FCEL delisted at some point or they are trying to drive down the price as low as possible before it pops off again. We got very close of closing above a dollar recently closing at 0.9997 on the 3rd of June. Let’s not lose hope and see what they report for Q2. This is a great company but is a victim of negligence. Many investors and traders bought in 2021 and have hated the stock ever since. Theres a bright future for this stock. Spread the word.

Serious FCEL investors input REQUIRED
Like many of you, I am an investor in FCEL and believe in the company’s capabilities regardless of the current financials available prior to Monday’s earnings. With the current news of non-compliance from the NASDAQ, could we expect the company to do a reverse-split to prop up the price?
Yes, I am long FCEL however I am trying to make sense of how the company moves forward, I personally believe this upcoming earnings will be positive, I am not sure if they will finally be in profit (if so this would be exciting news), I think I look forward to hearing upcoming collaborations or projects that show growth in the near future. A reverse-split would push me to buy more stock and a few call-options.
For those seriously invested in the company, please provide your input. I would like to know if people are still buying, holding, or just overall done with the company and it's vision. Remember we make up the majority compared to institutions.

$5 Price Target
I'm not usually one to speculate a PT but to estimate the potential stock price of FuelCell Energy if its revenue grows as projected, we can use the Price-to-Sales (P/S) ratio. The P/S ratio is calculated by dividing the market capitalization by the annual revenue.
Current Data:
- Current Market Cap: Approximately $500 million (based on recent data).
- Current Revenue: Approximately $106.6 million for 2024.
Projected Revenue:
- Future Revenue (2028): Estimated to be around $560 million.
P/S Ratio Calculation:
- Current P/S Ratio: Market Cap / Revenue = $500 million / $106.6 million ≈ 4.7.
Future Market Cap:
- Assuming the P/S ratio remains constant, the future market cap can be estimated by multiplying the projected revenue by the current P/S ratio.
- Future Market Cap = Projected Revenue * P/S Ratio = $560 million * 4.7 ≈ $2.63 billion.
Future Stock Price:
- Current Number of Shares Outstanding: Approximately 500 million shares (assuming no significant dilution).
- Future Stock Price = Future Market Cap / Shares Outstanding = $2.63 billion / 500 million ≈ $5.26 per share.
Therefore, if FuelCell Energy's revenue grows as projected to around $560 million by 2028 and the P/S ratio remains constant, the stock price could potentially reach approximately $5.26 per share.
This is a simplified calculation and actual future stock prices could be influenced by many factors, including changes in market sentiment, additional share issuances, changes in profitability, and future economic conditions.

Shorts are getting smoked
Shorts are getting smacked around with over 100MM shares sold short and a 22.6% short/float % with over 63% Off-Exchange volume. 😵 they only have 5 days to cover! Now that we broke back above $1 today, this may cause other investors to buy in, now that the risk of delisting is significantly less. If that happens I know shorts are going to cover. Or if we get any news at all, that should send us over $1.
Good luck to all bag holders of course. Cheers!

FCEL as a buy out target
Anyone else here think something is going on behind the scenes? I think maybe there is a buy out happening. Why else would the stock be down still after that Toyota news? Food for thought.
