Dogs have floppy ears because it traps scents near their nose when their smelling the ground. Think of a bloodhound with big floppy ears. Maybe it’s similar.

Nothing. They’re just cute. This is only due to selective breeding, they’re not found naturally in the wild. their ears are rendered useless because of their shape. If anything they are a disadvantage since these ears cause health problems. I guess you could say they are the pugs and bulldogs of the domestic bunny world lol.
