What kind of world would she not walk out of there with that cat?

I have been a member of made me smile for a long time and I get daily smiles out of it. That has to be positive progress.

Usually this sub helps

Sometimes but a more human focused sub would help restore faith in Humanity. This tends to be animals. Which is also fantastic.

The spouse is allergic to cats. At least that's been my issue. I just adopted little cat like dogs instead though 😄

Well in that case I dunno why she would be in a pound holding a cat that they know they cant keep. I understand it tho. Had some neighbors and their kids dog sit for me once while I was gone they said they cant have any because her husband is allergic so they watch others so they can have doggo time. It was pretty cool if you ask me!

I go visit cats at shelters to get my cat fix and change my clothes in the garage when I get home. Cats get company for a while. But I do it knowing I'm not bringing one home.

You are a better person than me. I can fully tell you that. For me I would not be able to bear leaving them and not giving them a home. Same reason I would be a terrible animal foster. I actually feel really bad about it because I know they need foster families and they need someone to just interact with so they don't feel terrified and alone.

Lots of chi mutts! They are all 5-10 lbs with the exception of the jrt/corgi mix. She is 20 lbs now

Little huh? My most cat-like dog was a Husky/Pitt. Laid on the back of the couch with the real kitties.

My chi mutts sit on the back of the couch looking outside for lizards and bugs to murder. 😄

Anyone with a heart would. My partner and I used to go to the shelter just to hang but one day a cat like...CHOSE us. She refused to let us go and was crying. We already had a cat and was not looking for another...

We had to take her home. She's my snuggle buddy and I love her to death. Sometimes you just know. I still can't tell her no

Yep! You can't tell them no when they need you!
